Hi Matt, Thank you for showing us your squirrel footage and the kit you used. I was looking at your tripod, and that looks like a great piece of kit too. I'm going to give you my honest, polite, humble opinion on what I think of it. With respect, I've never picked one one up or handled one. They look super well made and machined, their quality looks excellent. However, they look quite heavy and bulky and look quite a bulk to carry around all day. I have a trigger stick. It's strong, sturdy and lightweight. It never lets me down and I really like it. Your tripod Matt, at over £400, I think is a hell of a price to pay for a tripod when you think that an entry level pcp only costs £100 more. I'm not for one minute saying your tripod isn't worth over £400. I'm saying personally, I think its a lot to pay, and an unexpected expense as most people think of their rifle, range finder, or thermal scope, as that. In times as they are, and myself a while ago, I would have attempted to make something myself. Though that would probably involve wing nuts, so wouldn't work as a trigger stick would operating with one hand. With great respect, Matt your tripod has made me appreciate my trigger stick and realise its handyness, worth and practicalability much more. Your trigger stick maybe a ten from Len, but not Ian! Best wishes, Matt, take care! Ps. It's a hell of a thing to forget to bring home with you!
Crossman was my first when I was 10. Used it for years. Its how I became a master shot with it and other pistola's. Then youtube got me into air rifling when I looked up how to kill rats with out using poison. Air guns was the very first thing on the search.. Ive been hooked every since, and I have YET to yeet me a rat. A few pidgeons of course and maybe a few of those few little black bird pests "I live on a farm" But not a rat. And those Corvids and some of those pidgeons as soon as they ever seen my rifle they are gone from that property for the rest of the day.
That’s a nice (expensive?) setup. I do this daily with a $400 Air Venturi Avenger and a $45 scope from my backyard without a bench or bait sets. Five pecan trees and I have all the targets anyone needs… half my kills are on the ground and half in the trees.
Another great episode and excellent shooting as always Mat also nice to see a Crosman review, I began air gunning with a Crosman some 30 odd years ago and I still own it to this day. 👍🇬🇧👍
@@Theshropshireratter I started with a 1979 760 power master (pre pump master) from the Coleman era, it's actually older than me and it was second hand when it was given to me. Eventually the valve internals gave up so I bought a new valve assembly and pump cup to get it working and taught my kids to shoot with it. 👍🇬🇧👍

I took my show over to Shooting and Country TV channel, where it was called Airgun Action, for a year. Same owners now, so back on The Shooting Show - feels like coming home. Thanks for watching. Mat
Another great session on the squirrels Mat,lovely shooting. The crosman seems like a real good value rifle with decent accuracy.Hope you and your family have a great Christmas and Newyear. Thanks for all your hard work. Atvb👍🏻👍🏻😉
Where did you get that hat? Exactly what I have been looking for and can’t find it anywhere. All the big box stores, amazon, etc … Many variations but not what I want.
there are so many competitive air gun branch, I 'm currently own the leshiy 2, i want to try other branch but I do not even sure what or who to invest in.
Good question. Grey squirrels are an introduced species here in the UK. They carry, and are immune to, squirrel pox - a disease which is lethal to our native red squirrel. Grey squirrels also out compete red squirrels, and dormice and woodland birds, by dominating natural food sources because they are larger and more aggressive. On top of that, grey squirrels cause significant habitat damage by stripping bark from trees. This stunts the growth of trees - and often kills them - reducing habitat and food sources for more vulnerable species. I'm afraid it is another case of introduced species causing havoc to the existing flora and fauna. Thanks for watching. Mat
I would suggest picking one up and trying it if you get the chance. It feels very solidly constructed and is certainly accurate. Thanks for watching. Mat
I liked the bit where Mat screams "Die Squirrels!!!" While pumping lead full-auto
It's a good thing that he's got all that camo gear, if the squirrels ever saw him, he'd be done for.
Reminds me of the airsoft guys that dress in full gear. 😂

Hoho yes!
Gun seems great, but doing the kills as they feed, pretty sick!!!
What damage are you implying these "destructive rodents" are causing?
This is basically entertainment for them....

OK
14 minutes of watching you shooting squirrels & not even with the Crosman Prospect. Thanks for wasting my time
I like crosman but this is ugly
That crosman looks horrible and tacky definitely wont sell at that price
I would suggest picking one up and trying it if you get the chance. It feels very solidly constructed and is certainly accurate.
