looooovely episode!!!!! sooo touching man... to see a family reunion... and soul stirring bgm... well done vikatan! the only thing irking was the change in Uma.. till the previous episode, she was supporting nandini saying vaaku kuduthuten ithu athu nu... ippo isai kitta talking as tho she was dying to get her as her DIL! din like her putting up a facade... feel sorry for nandhini! :( Excellent acting by Praveena chechi!

'பிரியமானவள்' என்று ஒரு தொடர் நாடகம் 'சன்' தொலைக்காட்சியில் ஒளிபரப்பாகி வருகின்றது. விகடன் நிறுவனம் இதை தயாரித்து வழங்குகின்றது.
இந்த தொடரின் ஒரு பகுதியில் ஒரு வீட்டில் உலகப் புரட்சியாளர்களின் படங்கள் இருப்பதைக் காட்டினார்கள். தந்தை பெரியார், தலைவர் பிரபாகரன், மாவோ என்று உலகப் புரட்சியாளர்களின் படங்கள் காட்டப்பட்டன.
பிரச்சனை இந்தப் படங்களில் அல்ல, நாடகத்தின் போக்கிற்கு முக்கிய பங்கு வகித்த இன்னொரு புகைப்படத்தில்தான் பிரச்சனை இருக்கின்றது.
அந்த வீட்டில் வசிப்பவரின் பெற்றோர்களின் புகைப்படமும் அங்கே தொங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தது. கதையின் படி அவர் இலங்கையில் இருந்து கலவரத்தினால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கு ஓடி வந்து வாழ்கின்ற ஒருவர். கலவரத்தில் பெற்றோர்கள் கொல்லப்பட்டு விடுகிறார்கள். தங்கை காணாமல் போகிறார்.
அங்கே அவரை அண்ணன் என்று அறியாமலேயே அவருடைய தங்கை அவருடன் சம்பந்தம் பேச வருகிறார். பெற்றோரின் புகைப்படத்தைக் கண்டு அதிர்ச்சி அடைகிறார். அண்ணனும் தங்கையும் தம்மை யார் என்று உணர்கிறார்கள். ஆனந்தக் கண்ணீர் வடிக்கிறார்கள். உணர்ச்சிமயமான ஒரு கட்டம் அங்கே நடைபெறுகிறது.
இப்படி ஒரு முக்கிய பங்கை அந்தப் புகைப்படம் 'பிரயமானவள்' நாடகத்திற்கு வழங்குகிறது.
கனடாவில் வாழ்கின்ற அந்த ஈழத் தமிழ்த் தம்பதியினர் இந்தப் புகைப்படத்தைப் பார்த்து திடுக்கிட்டுப் போனார்கள். அவர்கள் 40 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்னர் எடுத்த புகைப்படம் அது. அவர்களுக்கு தெரியாமலேயே அவர்களின் புகைப்படம் தொடர் நாடகத்தின் முக்கிய கட்டத்திற்கு பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
நாடகத்தைப் பார்த்த அவர்களின் உறவினர்கள், நண்பர்கள் அவர்களை இனம் கண்டு கொண்டு, தொலைபேசியில் விசாரித்து வருகின்றார்கள். உயிரோடு இருக்கின்ற தம்மை, தம்மிடம் கேட்காமலேயே இறந்து போனவர்களின் படமாக நாடகத்தில் பயன்படுத்தியது பற்றி அவர்கள் மிகுந்த மன உளைச்சலில் இருக்கிறார்கள்.
இது தொடர்பாக விசாரிப்பதற்கு 'பிரியமானவள்' தொடர் இயக்குனரை அந்த தம்பதியனர் பல முறை தொடர்பு கொள்ள முயன்றும் அவர் தொடர்புக்குள் வராமல் போய் விட்டார்.
இந்தப் புகைப்படம் எப்படி அவர்களின் கைகளில் போனது என்பது பற்றியும் சரியாகத் தெரியவில்லை. தம்பதியினரின் முகநூல் பக்கத்தில் இருந்தோ, அல்லது புகைப்படம் எடுத்து ஸ்ரூடியோவில் இருந்தோ எடுத்திருக்கலாம் என்பது ஒரு ஊகமாக இருக்கிறது.
இரண்டு துணை நடிகர்களை வைத்து ஒரு புகைப்படத்தை எடுத்திருந்தால், இந்தப் பிரச்சனை வந்திருக்காது. பணத்தை மிச்சப்படுத்த நினைத்து இயக்குனர் செய்தாரோ தெரியவில்லை.
பாரம்பரிய நிறுவனம் என்று தன்னைச் சொல்லிக் கொள்கின்ற விகடன் தயாரிக்கின்ற படத்தில் இப்படி ஒரு வில்லங்கம் நடக்கலாமா?

Great episode. Loved the brother/sister reunion. Hopefully Uma finds her other siblings too.
Why are people insulting Uma for attempting to get Prabha married to Isai? I agree that she should not have jumped the gun and gave her word to Nandini but it was a misunderstanding. Viewers can't expect her to force Prabha into marrying Nandini because of her word. That would make her a bad parent.
Neither Uma, Isai nor Nandini has the right to decide who Prabha should marry. Only Prabha has that right. The same way, it's Isaipriya's right whether or not to accept Uma's proposal to marry Prabha. It's partly Nandini's fault for getting her hopes high solely based on Uma's word when Prabha never even told her directly that he likes her.

I agree its partly nandhinis falut. But its completely wrong of praba to say maybe isai loves me to uma, when she Clearly said i dont like you. Because of his intentional confusion, isai had a uncomfortable situation, where uma family is asking her hand in marriage. Even then, she refused and gave 2 reasons, but Pimp uma was forcing/pressuring her. Thats very mean. I hope isai refuses.

May Spring I partly agree with you. But I don't think that Uma is forcing Isai. She's just asking her to think about it and told her not to worry about her family if that was holding her decision. Even Prabha is not asserting himself on her or stooping to Nandini's level by making Isai's father promise her to him. He even left her her alone without taking a step for a long time after she rejected him until the problem erupted with Nandini.
