It's; "...you won't fly to your Demise". But yeah...that is a great line indeed and a nice callback. Makes me really curious about ANIARA's (album) lyrical structure; keeping in mind the simply awesome lyrics and storytelling they gave us in "The Great Escape". SW is (for me) the best prog. metal band ever and with "Victorious" and "Tiara" they prove it still. Allthough I'm somewhat disappointed over the more straightforward approach they seem to have taken with the percussions. I also think the soundstage(right word?) has a "muffled" feel to it and I believe SW is a band who really benefits from having the opposite; clarity in the soundstructure. Too bad. But aaaanyhow, wow these guys can play and write great songs. Heavenly!

So this is a prequel to the Great Escape
Actually I think it's a sequel: "With you, Tiara, we crown the skies. Unlike Aniara, you won't fly to your demise". Aniara is dead and gone. These are the people left on Earth when it started to recover, and it sounds like they're sending out another ship (Tiara) to save the human race from extinction at their own hands. I'm so excited to hear the rest of the album!
What I find interesting is, that in The Great Escape (the song), there is a line that goes "We crown the skies with our tiara"...The plot thickens...
Isn't the boy in the opening the same person in The Great Escape IX Aftermath, remembering missing them running through the gardens of their home? It seems to me this will be from the other perspective of The Great Escape.
Actually yeah that makes a lot of sense. Just had another look at The Great Escape's lyrics, and "Destiny sent us a greeting from home, let us see;
We have no home anymore, while Mima showed the final war". So it looks like this actually runs parallel. Well spotted with the boy in the field!

Love it! Disappointed some people can't enjoy any new SW song without being negative towards Kamelot, though. Imagine being excited to see fans' reactions to a new song and seeing a bunch of rude comments about another band/project you also work passionately on.
Well imagine that instead of leaving Kamelot, Khan went to sing for Metallica and stayed the singer of Kamelot, produce albums for Metallica every year or two, and did numerous Metallica tours around the world...but for Kamelot you get another album 8 years later, and then publisher says they will push the album release some 10 months later not to coincide with Metallica's new album - cause after all Metallica is a bigger and more important band..and of course - no Kamelot concerts in meanwhile. And then a Metallica fan says.."why can't you be happy for Khan in Metallica?". That's about it how it feels for SW fan.
As for me Kamelot is fine, not bad band, they do their thing and some people dig it. I tried listening to it for Tommy, but the instrumental part of it was never too interesting. Seventh Wonder on the other hand is only band that I can call true progressive metal except Dream Theater who are the kings of prog metal for 30 years already. And I like SW better then them.
So yeah, I get the sentiment of your message, and its all understandable - that Tommy joined the big famous band, has a great career, and Tommy and SW wait for each other - as neither SW will get a better singer than Tommy, or Tommy a better band than SW. But for people like me, who see SW as the favourite band in the world...its like :( let's wait when Kamelot has a summer break, maybe we get a concert or two, and new album after this in 2026. That's where negative comments come from, however disappointing or not nice that might be.
You can't deny SIlverthorn sounds like leftovers from the Haven sessions, which means not the best songs either... Loved Haven big time. Loved both new SW songs so far!

I don't like Kamelot (nothing personal) but I can't stop listenning this song. I need may daily dose of Tiara's Song. I really love the voice.
Top class prog. Band is already perfect for what it is. This just needs some PR to music lovers who like this kinda shit - Dream Theater and Circus Maximus fans - pushing it as Tommy's "other band" to Kamelot fans is just advertising it to people who are not really top targeting audience for the general vibe of this band, not that some may not like it..but in MUCH smaller percentage than lets say Circus Maximus fans - for them this is like same general vibe, optimistic music for "fighters" with a gentle sweet heart inside :) not to mention lovers of tight progressive melodic metal with great musical performance and melodies that don't just repeat themselves over and over. Like I can't imagine that atleast 50% of Circus Maximus fans wouldn't just love this band if they had posibility to listen to it..and probably quite a big percentage of Dream Theater fans..and those guys are HUGE. And that's a market with really small competition - there is just few bands that can play progressive metal on level of DT (having great song writing and great technical skill) and Seventh Wonder is one of them, while there are thousands of power metal copy cats of bands like Kamelot (yes power metal, a 5 seconds prog synth lick don't make you progressive metal band). On scale of 1 to 10 Band = 10, PR = 2.
Top comment my friend, i surely agree for Dream Theater fans, especially I&W, Awake and Metropolis 2 fans, that this is a pity of they have not heard SW at all, although Mercy Falls is influenced heavily by them and Shadow Gallery. But i believe that the majority of CM fans are also SW fans. They toured i remember(unfortunately not in my country, Greece, or nearby) together during their first albums. And also the other godsend voice of Eriksen has been a Khan replacement for Kamelot.

Whilst it's clear that he is a little more free here there is just something about how he does in Kamelot that's mesmerizing. Its almost as if he has 2 personalities.

Agreed. I wish people would stop complaining. It's annoying to read. Besides, I don't think that Tommy's way to sing in SW would fit Kamelot. This way to sing here is more uplifting and poppy, while Kamelot's music is darker and heavier. It would clash.

Kamelot is my favorite band, but I definitely prefer Tommy in Seventh Wonder. That being said, it's double the Tommy. So, I'll take it. I just wish his work with Kamelot didn't delay this alum which looks like it kicks so much ass. But has a huge fan of both fans, this is a good year for me.
"Good" is not a strong enough word to describe the vocals of Tommy Karevik.

With the full album out now I must say the entire three part series "Farewell" is among the most breathtaking and emotional pieces of music I've ever listened to. Highly recommend listening to all of it and understanding the underlying story...it makes this so much more powerful.
