As a former sunset district resident let us see where they amble off to. Generally they meander along the Lake Merced area or somewhere near GG Park. Angled parking there could be difficult there because zoom through there. The homeless will park anyway in two spots.

The state should implement designated areas for people with trailers and RVs. Count do you have a designated area where they can park and get some rest. And also get them more support for some of them to get training for jobs or get a job so that they can better their lives. Have small portable showers and portable restrooms. On the problem with trash, they should do a trash run every week and clean the facility or have people live in there take care of the trash by organizing the trash. Have bike rentals that can be donated and use: to go to work like e-bikes or bikes. Let people stay 3 months 6 months. After they have enough money they can move on through housing support programs. With the zero drug and alcohol policies.
I like District 4 Supervisor Joe Engardio ~ he seem pretty hands on with making a better community in our area .... I've seen in talking with a group of folks at a corner of Sunset Blvd. re: clean up - may have been a group of volunteers. He seems to have compassion for the underserved but at the same time strict on finding solutions to make it a safer neighborhood for the community. He should run for Mayor! imho

Whenever I am in San Francisco I usually crash in my truck along the Great Highway not far from those encampments and I see other people doing the same. A lot of us usually are quiet, do not leave a mess and are respectful of the community.
