Almost everything that comes out of her mouth is a compliment for other people- what a wonderful positive human being she is
Julie Andrews is such a gift. Her talent is timeless.
Still one of my favourite comedies. Dame Julie Andrews, your collegues and everyone involved: thank you! ❤
I absolutely adore Julie Andrews. I think this is the BEST role she's ever done!!! It was amazing!! 🙋🏻♀️from Bombay 🇮🇳
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! Sag Harbour is simply an ocean too far away to drop by.
Victor/Victoria was a wonderful movie thanks to Julie Andrews and every other cast member. i especially loved Leslie Ann Waren!
i like how she looks at the audience some actors when doing talking shows they don't look at the audience
Based on this, the star of one of my favorite films (V/V) is also a wonderful person. So warm, kind, funny, aand humble.
Thank you for. posting this..
She's a special lady - always warm and relaxed
Dame Julie is simply the best!
I love the movie. And I love the play version even more.❤❤
When I saw the movie on the big screen it was magnificent!!!
My eyes were glued!! 🙏💖🙏🎉👀🎉🎊👌
great great interview thanks for posting 👏👏👏👏👏
Fun Fact: It's not shown here, but Julie's costar Lesley Anne Warren was Cinderella in the 1965 TV production of Rogers & Hammerstein's musical Cinderella. Julie was Cinderella in the original 1957 TV broadcast.
I knew that already. Brandy Norwood played the title role in the 1997 production, but she was nowhere nearly as convincing as Julie or Lesley.
JULIE.......
JULIE.......
JULIE ANDREWS ......
THE GREATEST FOREVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm totally convinced that somehow Dame Julie is related to the royal family.
I saw this on opening day in a NYC Times Square theatre that's no longer there! I was completely blown away!
I watched it in the U.K. I was 14 and it was my favourite musical for ages. An older friend who was gay had never seen this film and got the video to watch and he was so happy. He actually rang me afterwards and was in tears of joy.
Thank you very much .
I love julie andrews
Thank you for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
Julie Andrews has voice training since a tender age
of 8 years old (or earlier).
A childhood favorite of mine.
Thank you for sharing Sag Harbor Cinema. Do you have the Thats Life! showing also? Such great insights of a wonderful film. In addition, Julie looks wonderful! She reminds me of the British version of Coloratura Deana Durbin. Julie is one of the very few singers who was able to bring the Italian style of legato and bel canto singing into film. Perhaps the only other singer that did it as well was Mario Lanza. A question that is often forgotten to be asked is who was Julie's singing inspiration growing up? I assume maybe Patti, Mario Lanza and Kathryn Grayson.
I hope she got to see top gun 😭
