Minecraft has had the nostalgia taken out of it kind of. It got popular and expanded and now people actually know what it is. But yeah this music brings ya back :)
Funnily enough today i picked up mcpe for the first time in a while and i played survival and made a huge dark oak house and i got so much wood i could build a stair house, and once i finally accomplished my goal of getting a bed and stone tools it was raining in my house

The Internet you clearly haven’t play the Alpha/Beta for Minecraft. It was a completely different game back then it was just YOU and the lonely world other than animals there was no sense of being safe no villagers/villages and it just felt really lonely it was scary and it is really sad that people who are just discovering the game now can’t feel what we did
Volume Beta has a lot of tracks that reflect the state of mind this song tries to put you in. Its just that the style has changed a bit; more layered and synthesized. You should listen to the full beta soundtrack because a lot of the songs give the same feeling.

STORY TIME! A couple years ago, I was playing on the PS3 and since I was a noob, I would play on the tutorial all the time because it already provided a lot of things for you. I remember I always had a love for Wolves so I tamed one! I saw an Enderman and decided to attack it. My wolf being there, he also attacked it, trying to defend me. He ended up dying and this song came on and it started to rain. I was literally sobbing. It was so sad. :(
I sat in my house at night. The groans of zombies faded as they would come and go. The moon shined brightly, leaving me staring at it through my unfinished roof. The music relaxed me after I felt like the monsters would get me in my unfinished house.the stars sparkled, making me feel like I was playing minecraft, and not some game where I build crap for no reason.

I remember having different creative worlds on my Xbox where me and my brother would just build and play mini games. And we would our grandma would let us play until 12 when our parents would get home and we would rush to our rooms because we heard their footsteps, I really miss those days. All those creative worlds are just not working anymore and I really wish I could revisit them.

The fact that minecraft is older than some kids is insane to me. They won’t ever have the same nostalgia that some of us OG’s have. I’m still learning how to use red stone, and some kid makes a flying machine in 5 minutes. It’s pretty cool I guess.

One time, when I was playing Minecraft in survival mode, I completely ran out of materials. I had nothing. There was no hope. I remember I was looking at the sun set while this exact track was playing, knowing what the night would bring. I knew my death awaited me. Once the light was no more, I could see the creepers, zombies, and skeletons slowly making their way towards me. It was my end. This happened 7 years ago. It was the last time I ever played Minecraft. Thank you C418 for making my last moment in Minecraft not only memorable, but meaningful.

Doesn't that replicate life? You have so many aspirations that you could definitely do if you put your mind to it, but everything around you depresses you, convincing you to stop and that it isn't worth it. Minecraft, despite all the cringe and corruption over the years, is a metaphor for life and has always has been. This music only emphasizes this metaphor even more. Endless potential and the power of god, but still the overwhelming restriction that is emotion, the mind, and loneliness.

Back in the golden days I remember the fear and curiosity I had while playing Minecraft. The feeling that you were alone, nothing or no one to be with you, not knowing what you’ll find, a thrilling mystery. Yet this music made it a lot more relaxing in a way, and in another a lot more mysterious, chilling you yet comforting you.
Storytime I was strip mining with my cat and dog and i found some lava. My cat stopped but my dog pushed it in. I felt a little bad but then fricking silverfish happened in the next block and swarmed my dog and into the lava it went. This song came on and i was fricking sobbing so hard

I remember my old survival world I was very scared of mobs so i played in peaceful mod and made a iron farm since it was peaceful it didnt work. I also had a horse and unique house rail track and many more ahh man It was peaceful mod so i deleted it now i feel the pain

I remember having different creative worlds on my Xbox where me and my brother would just build and play mini games. And we would our grandma would let us play until 12 when our parents would get home and we would rush to our rooms because we heard their footsteps, I really miss those days. All those creative worlds are just not working anymore and I really wish I could revisit them.
This is the most nostalgic one, it just feels.. otherworthly for some reason. it feels like it belongs somewhere but you do not know where, its calming while being erie at the same time, its nostalgic.
I remember sitting in the living room with a ps3 controller in my hand, Not on a couch. But on a blanket, Next to my brother. We played Minecraft together, It was.... Magical, That is the only way to describe it... And i vividly remember us playing on our survival world and this song playing. Brings up emotions every time i listen to it. Thank you C418, I truly mean it from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so so much for helping create some of my best memories.

This game has the perfect soundtracks! All of them are very nostalgic, relaxing and not one of them are hated!
The fact that minecraft is older than some kids is insane to me. They won’t ever have the same nostalgia that some of us OG’s have. I’m still learning how to use red stone, and some kid makes a flying machine in 5 minutes. It’s pretty cool I guess.

This song was the first I ever heard when playing minecraft it brings tears to my eyes and makes me think back to a simpler time wishing I could go back to my crappy creative world with a house made of obsidian so it was strong it had a secret base that I was so proud of it didn’t even use redstone just a hole in the floor with ladders leading down to a basement where I made an office and put chests as the floor for more space thinking I was amazing that’s the only part of my first world I remember but it’s now gone forever sadly

I remember years ago in 2011 me and my brother would always play this game. We had our own survival world and a huge house that took us ages to build. It's been 8 years and we barely do anything together now. I miss that world.

One time, when I was playing Minecraft in survival mode, I completely ran out of materials. I had nothing. There was no hope. I remember I was looking at the sun set while this exact track was playing, knowing what the night would bring. I knew my death awaited me. Once the light was no more, I could see the creepers, zombies, and skeletons slowly making their way towards me. It was my end. This happened 7 years ago. It was the last time I ever played Minecraft. Thank you C418 for making my last moment in Minecraft not only memorable, but meaningful.

Doesn't that replicate life? You have so many aspirations that you could definitely do if you put your mind to it, but everything around you depresses you, convincing you to stop and that it isn't worth it. Minecraft, despite all the cringe and corruption over the years, is a metaphor for life and has always has been. This music only emphasizes this metaphor even more. Endless potential and the power of god, but still the overwhelming restriction that is emotion, the mind, and loneliness.

i still remember the times i would play splitscreen when my friends were over on xbox 360 and we would go into the tutorial then leave and change it to creative and explore, destroy, roleplay, and just have fun. man i miss those days

I was strip mining with my cat and dog and i found some lava. My cat stopped but my dog pushed it in. I felt a little bad but then fricking silverfish happened in the next block and swarmed my dog and into the lava it went. This song came on and i was fricking sobbing so hard
