Lol John has said in his live streams that he got shoulder surgery around 2010. His arm was never the same explosivity wise and he didn't regain his strength til around 2014/2015

Styles make matches
This was not long after John's shoulder surgery..I don't think he and Krasimir ever competed before his surgery.. John's last few yrs leading up to the retirement were not among his best..he spent most of his career in a different era.. developed strength largely by arm wrestling a lot and never did much off the table to strengthen specific areas..the guys who came in around the mid 2000s and beyond were different because the incentives had changed..money had started to become substantial..PEDs, insane training etc were common.....he still managed to hang with them just cuz he's John Brzenk but it was almost not a fair fight for an aging John
@@karuonline3294they surely did faced each other before and I think on at least 1 occasion, if not more. There's a very blurry video somewhere where they are surrounded by people and having a match and Krasi won that too

Before watching, I am a John fanboy he got me into Armwrestling. Second, there are backstotries to every match, those too where John won.
So let's at least appreciate Krasi that he has a winning record on John and a fair one:

Krasimir is a super elite but damn seeing brzenk lost really hurts lol
it always does.. but this John was a shell of his former self..the years after his shoulder surgery were far from his best..it took a long time to rehab and gain strength..Krasimir would likely have lost it he had faced John before 2010

Todd Hutchings won the 95kg weight class that year. I think this was the last year John competed in Zloty
@ArmDarkFight I don't know why John stopped participating in Zloty. He still went to other tournaments in Eastern Europe where pullers like Pushkar and Denis were competing, so it wasn't that he didn't think he could beat the top guys anymore. Maybe he had issues with the event organizers
@@clash5j You're right! He just had a falling out with the organizers. Said that they weren't making it random, and they were giving g him the absolute hardest path to victory while giving their own guys easy paths to the finals. It helped Toddzilla that year. He won the 95kg class.
John was still recovering from shoulder surgery. Also had harder matches than Krasi leading up to this one. Krasi was great, but nowhere near a healthy and fresh John's level.

Krasmir got sooooo luckky. I dont think john really prepared himself, unlike guys that are on roids and crap that enhances strength. 2014 brzenk would of beaten him. Hell I feel like John can beat him today.
They pulled in 2013 again and Krasimir won. All I hear from Brzenk fanboys are excuses excuses excuses. Stop bringing shame to his name.

Beat him in both 2012 and 2013, and didn’t mean to come across as rude but it gets really annoying when you constantly see a dumb excuse for any time Brzenk loses and “I don’t think John really prepared himself” fall under that category. John is not an idiot, he definitely knows Krasimir as he always had a world class hook and John would absolutely come prepared. He would not be the GOAT if he would act like a rookie not coming prepared lmao especially in a Zloty tournament.

I honestly would like to see 2014 brzenk match up. Nonethe less, i always argue that if John took the stuff these guys take and went 100% on training besides table time. @@sunnydee7745 “The surgery” isn’t always the reason for loss lol even in his prime John was outclassed by Hutchings in a hook so don’t act like he was ever in a league of his own. 2014 and 2013 isn’t that big of a gap and I don’t even think he was stronger those years because he was coming closer to retirement. John lost to Devon because he was totally outclassed, and even worse LT outclass by Pushkar who literally toyed with John in 2015. 2014 John is not far away from that time lol. Also you have no idea how much these guys nor John are taking so that’s an invalid assortment. Every athlete does both physical training and table time cuz both are obviously essential. Idk man seems like you’re just full of excuses as well.
