Gotta love Wesker being so hands-on in this version. I would like to think that while the whole cast is running amok in the island, he is also planting bombs in the whole island now that could be a separate campaign 😅
Nice little detail at 7:46 bottom left you see Luis got kidnapped in the bag that Leon found him in the basement, but apparently he got caught near the church where he was supposed to meet Ada, poor guy 😂
Luis is really like the heart of RE4 remake he glued the characters and the plot together perfectly, capcom outdid themselves there, he's absolutely my new favorite RE character.
Holy hell that is such a good attention to detail. It actually explain why there was a Ganado locking the basement in Leon's campaign since they just put Luis there
@@hailanluu2169 it also explains why he knew Ashley's location, he probably was there before Ada and he heard Ashley cries behind the wall, and he got busted when he tried to help her because he "isn't the type to leave a lady behind" as he said.
If anyone didn't catch that little ester egg, at the last scene with wesker, where the soundtrack is playing at the end: The soundtrack is from RE5/Resident evil 5 and it all points to Resident evil 5, being that it is the next remake coming next year. Also the ship is also an "Easter egg"🥚 from RE5 being that you fight in it.
I'm not sure about next year but yeah it's 100% coming in the next 2 ish years.
I thought the same as soon as I saw the boat. It reminded me of the Irving's boss fight. Even the camera action is the same as that scene

It's still surprisingly that Ada gets infected by the parasite, it is far more different than the Original Separate Ways. Most especially the surprised personal participation of Wesker, makes me wish that there should be a separate DLC story for him.

I miss Wesker's voice actor from the original 4 and also RE5. This new guy isn't bad but it's definitely not the same.
Craig is much worse than Richard Waugh and DC Douglas, but he is not horrible either.

At least it’s not the Albert Wesker from Paul W. S. Anderson’s films.
The VA is nothing wrong with, but the voice doesn’t really fit the character. I also prefer the previous Wesker voice.
At the end of this DLC when Wesker is talking on the boat you can clearly hear the same music that Capcom used in a RE5 cutscene with him and Excella before the first Spencer flashback. That music was so familiar when I first heard it and I had to check. Could be possibly indicate that the next remake will be RE5?

Winds of madness is much more intense and this suspenseful melody that played at the end of this DLC was straight from 'Excella and Wesker', OST

Luis really care for leon and ashley also ada... and ada is much more humanize in this remake
Between the scene where she hides from her stalker and sees Luis during his last moments, she purges the parasite... for anyone wondering. I think the scene is missing from this pack.

More Wesker = Good Thing. Hopefully they do his character properly in the RE5 Remake.

It was so... awkward. Ada staring at her while Leon is getting his ass beat, and Ashley yelling at her to get a move on. Maybe I'll understand the purpose of it later on 😂

I love that they played Ada's scenario B death theme from the original RE2 when she took the amber from Leon.
I like Ada better in this game than most other playable versions I've had of her. Honestly, she's pretty hard to "like" in most of the original games because she's purely self-interested even if it's going to end up getting a lot of people killed. I like how she at least has some standards at the end.
But I actually preferred Luis a bit better in this remake. He has more than a couple nods where, in spite of the fact he and Ada are just there to do their deal, he seems to show genuine concern for her.

Everybody keep saying they don't like Ada's new voice. But me, i really love her new voice it really gave her calm, collected, mature and professional type.
I think it's less "voice" and more line delivery. There were definitely some nuances in the script that i don't think the voice actress picked up on. If you were to read the subtitles with no volume, the message may have been conveyed differently

Because she doesn’t even sounded like professional voice actress. Her voice tone’s not actually versatile at all and too nasally. I’m so glad that many people can tell about some bad performance. Maybe you have some bad taste but i won’t blame you.

An Ada prequel game would be incredible. It doesn't even necessarily have to be super science-fiction-y if her life prior to Resident Evil predates her ever encountering anything like that, but I'm sure they could work that stuff in, too. We already know creature horror in this world has been around for centuries at least, so it's still possible that her first encounter with it hasn't been seen.
Yo I wondered what happened to the other big insect guy….but this thing can teleport? Seems like Leon took on the more aggressive one and Ada fought the more strategic long range type!

Wesker is way more angry in this remake than on the original game. He also don't have that "educated" tone from the original re4, he is way more ruthless in the way he talks

To think about it, Wesker came to Ada in person twice from the ship, means he had to go all the way to there, probably using jetski just to get back to the ship again

Perhaps because when you're in a big project (Uroboros) you need more hands than you could imagine.
He could gotten the sample himself, but he probably hired Ada to get a sample of a dominant plaga and also planned to get a sample himself by collecting a dominant hosts body in case Ada fails.
Because in the original he wasn't in Europe but in a completely different side of the planet where Umbrella's archives and the Red Queen computer is in a secret base in Russia as shown in Umbrella Chronicles. He had Krauser and Ada in Spain to get him a master plaga sample, and after Ada betrayed him he sent Hunk and another team to retrieve Krauser's body. He anticipated Ada's betrayal by sending a second team to get Krauser's body after she told him he had died in original. The remake changed lots of stuff instead...

More humanized maybe but they definitely made her more of a selfish b****. I can't believe what i saw. It was a point in the original SW that Ada was putting herself at risk to help Leon and this was not emphasized at all in this version. I'm so disappointed

I wonder how Ada removed the parasite inside her. Because when Luis injected her with the syringe he said it’s temporary suppressant to the parasite not a cure.
After she killed the big black robe guy, it lost its connection to the parasite in her body, so she threw it up.
This reminds of RE 6 where each characters path intertwined. They have different scenarios where they meet.

She reduced the amount of bombs that would destroy the island, so Leon and Ashley have a better chance of escape.

If you watch the full walkthrough and read a note, Ada's case is quite special. She is infected from Pesanta and a note said that the only way to stop the Parasite is to kill Pesanta herself, which Ada did.

I feel like this DLC is pretty inconsistent with the timeline of things that happened in the actual game.
my thoughts exactly. In the main game Leon takes time to reach Mendez's house, Ada takes shortcuts yet when she gets to his place Leon is already there, and she'd fainted a while and by the time she reaches Luis, both he and Leon have tackled the ganado with their chains. I already knew Leon is an OP big guy, this game showed me he is also the Flash :P

Here's my reasoning why Code Veronica *WILL* be next instead of RE5 remake.
They haven't properly introduced remake Chris into the remake verse yet. CV obviously will give us a proper introduction.
RE5 has way too many characters/plot to introduce for newer fans who have only played RE2,3,4 remakes without the subplots of CV.

She had parasite implanted by Pesanta. This one is weaker so after the host (Pesanta) dies, Ada just vomits the parasite and she is fine.
