you really are so kind and I have to say i'm so happy to listen to what you say. I'm stoked for vlogmas and really needed to hear todays video. you truly are inspirational. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
Thank you for this important reminder! I'm always my harshest critic as it is ... but, aren't we all?! The comparison to others' successes can limit the joy I feel when I reach my own mini-goals, such as participating in a local market or packing up a large holiday order. I keep telling myself that those who are "ahead" of me in their businesses adventures have already run the gauntlet I'm currently going through, lol.
I literally did this yesterday, and was actually talking to my husband about it. After watching some of your videos, I started comparing my business to yours and how Im not as successful as you, and the more I talked about I realized that the circumstances are always different. Thank you so much for sharing this.
I have to do a lot of ‘self talk’ around this too. I loved your use of the word metric because that brings home the concept of how futile it is to compare yourself to others. I also remind myself it isn’t a fair metric to compare my insides against another person’s outside!

Ugh, it's so tough not to be hard on ourselves but I'm glad you talked it out!
