Lewis is such a nice guy and so extremely respectful. Makes sure to greet everyone anywhere he goes and specifically lowers his voice while hosting in the engineers' room to make sure he is not disturbing them. It's the small things like this that show true character and Lewis has definitely shown what a gentleman and true sportsman he is.
and yet people still hate on him
Lewis is genuinely good in front of the camera. And it's good to see him so focused and mature
Lewis is such a soft spoken humble guy. He's been through so much and deserves every win.
Whenever a driver wins a race and says "I want to thank the team for all their hard work..." etc. I never realized just how large that team actually is until now.
The "team" is a friggin army of engineers whose sole purpose is to perfect the car you drive, taking in every possible variable into account.
It's like Formula 1 drivers are more like astronauts supported by an army of engineers called NASA.
The team is 1000 people strong. That's the same size as my team that works on NASA solid rocket boosters... Just think about that
Lewis keeps reminding people in interviews of how big the team is (around 2000 people I believe).
Your description of being like an astronaut at NASA is pretty much 100% accurate 😂😂. And there are SO MANY MANY more engineers around the base actually building the car, places like building 60% size models for the wind tunnel and aerodynamicists. Dude its all insane stuff
The Big different with astronauts is that they are actors, drivers are athletes.

This is why, Lewis is one of the greatest drivers, he's such a great team player unlike other drivers, bring positive vibes and a result championships

To be honest, I'm not that impressed with any of the F1 race engineers radio protocols. They waste time and are often distracting.

I think the drivers know that track position is important...
Collins, what is broadcasted is but a minuscule portion of what is said between the driver/race engineer.
It is, but most of what is broadcasted is amateurish. The radio talk should be as efficient and rehearsed as the drivers training regimen, or the car's preperation - basically flawless.
Have a look into how Neubauer ran the Mercedes team in the 30's and 50's...

Just look at their faces, I mean Lewis looks like he hasn't slept for a week and the whole crew in the video as well, and still everyone smiles out there, I just wanted to remind everybody of all the effort put in by the team, the devotion and passion they have for the sport. Thank you mercedes, F1 definitely needs teams like you, we the fans enjoy your work, we truly do. Now Ima undrunk myself, and this word does exist. For a few hours anyway. 💗
Lewis just got back from New York. Different time zones during an off week coming from partying for the New York Fashion Week and all the after parties probably means his lack of sleep is different from the team at the factory's lack of sleep.

Please keep doing this but after the singapore gp please start doing vlogs, so one day it might be an engineer that is developing the next year car that is vloging an then next day it might be a person who works in marketing and so on forward and eventually lh, vb and toto will also do it. and when i say vlog i dont mean like a 5 min video i mean a 10-13 min video thanks!

You have to admire the man, he is like a machine: how many people do you know who could fly in from New York, be one of the first in the office, have a round of highly technical meetings, write your signature a hundred times or more - that's your weekdays; and weekends come out top on a race track...

Where Lewis goes, Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport goes. Like Jim Clark to Lotus or Senna to McLaren. Love this. I recall seeing Prince Harry walking around the Grid at Silverstone a few years ago with no pass or ID card, and Bernie running up to him in a breathless, frenzied pother to give him a pass, Harry simply shrugged and jammed the pass in his pocket, he had no idea who Bernie was or what the pass was for.
It's such a shame to witness that only drivers get media attention after a good (or bad) race when you see all this army behind. They deserve more coverage and would love to hear all their stories and how they handle this crazy job. Much respect for the travel assistant girls, I can't imagine how hard it is to arrange 100 flights+accomodation ... (most of them are personalized to the needs of each one)
Wow! Such a big team of people helping and supporting everything to do withthe car and team Hamilton. No wonder the Petrona's team is always excelling and number one team in Formula 1. That is amazing. 👌. Go Lewis Hamilton number 1 formula 1 race driver! ✊

Im really enjoying watching this series and find it fascinating how much stuff goes on in the background, but Im curious to know how a team like Merc compares to say, Sauber or Haas.
Obviously we expect the big teams like Merc, Ferrari, Redbull and McLaren to have an armada of staff working around the clock but that's massively expensive, so curious to how the smaller teams manage each weekend and the back and forth between weekends, the development of the cars, the technicians on site and back at the office and how much man power they can throw at this stuff as I cant imagine its anything nearly as large in operation.
What happens to all the pit stop equipment like tires and tire guns
Probably take them to a certain number of races then they get new ones

Can't wait for the Singapore race, Hopefully Lewis can make it another win, I believe Nico Rosberg won last year and Lewis came in 3rd place and it's a night race which is always awesome, The FIA needs to get a race sorted for Las Vegas at night time cause that would be awesome having a street circuit in Las Vegas.

All I want is a signed shirt I can hang up in my living room to look at while I watch races. I won a local karting Championship near where I live wearing a Mercedes f1 shirt. I lost 25 lb so I could compete and I actually won. I beat out 60 other guys. I go to the Canadian GP every year to support Mercedes and Lewis. The first few times I went alone because I didn't have anybody to go with I drive 8 hours but it is always worth it. Do you think you can make my dream come true? Btw I'm a guy
