Brought back a lot of memories. My grandfather used to run cattle out there so I’m very familiar with the area, as well as spending many night partying there. Party tree anyone? Pasture parties? Used to be a dare to see who would go into the cave once we were all high. I never did. This was great. Thank you.
Where was the cave at, the one with the ark of the covenant? I've been in it before, its not very big. They recently redid the fencing so its not as easy to get to it.
Right on! Thanks for this video. Have heard all the lores n legends but too lazy to walk it 😂 so nice to see whats back there. Definitely a very neat find for you to have discovered that ancient Yoctonian art 🎨
What a Chitty video. But I laughed, watched it all, mesmerized by your commentary along with your ghost rider partner. If I ever get back to the SF area (I hope not), I must visit Antioch.
Shout out to Bob G and Willie B for the Concert Barn on Empire Mine Rd. Their crazy idea to have big time rock and roll shows, in a haybarn on a cattle ranch on Empire Mine Rd,actually worked. Ronnie James Dio kicked off his world tour with his new band "Dio" on Empire Mine Rd at the Concert Barn. Some of the best talent of the time played there. Ronnie Montrose, Dave Mason, Lita Ford, REO Speedwagon, Quiet Riot to name a few. Someone died in a car wreck on the way home from the CB on EMRoad so the city shut 'em down. Now it looks like the entire road is shut down, which is cool because it gets real dark at night out there, and the hair pin turns are dangerous AF. Thought I'd share... 👍
I miss driving there, that’s where I used to take my 68 mustang to test the grip of my tires in a stationary position. Also my shortcut from b-wood to go hike contra Loma/black diamond
I looked into the Concert Barn and the address showed it was closer to were the ranch house was located which seemed weird to me since there is no ruminants of it there. Did you ever see the concert barn?
You were saying viewership has been down. I agree. Alot of tubers are doing vids on bikes only old people would wanna ride. Or those ugly folding bikes or trikes. The worst are the guys who review the worst built bikes and try to spin. Ya get what ya pay for.I dont think Surronster has an issue😂🤙
When I was a teenager the rumor going around was that the road from the gates of hell lead to an old abandoned insane asylum. Sad to see the gates are gone now! The slaughterhouse was sick too! Truly a bygone era of antioch :(
@@shootthechit the ones you do see are either show pieces or clapped out race cars. I had so much fun with 3 of the 4 I owned. We don't talk about that 4th one anymore...
I went to the slaughterhouse in 1998 or around that time. The house was ransacked however had the original furniture. I remember seeing a TV in the hime looking like the TV on I Love Lucy. The slaughter portion still had ropes hanging. Us kids wanted to see the property but not disrespectful. We seen what we needed to see and left.
Completely awesome video! Brings back great memories. We used to drive from downtown Clayton out to Nortonville and Somerville for our partying! What about Sarah Norton, The White Witch of Nortonville?
Was about to give a tip to a big tittied friend on Onlyfans ... then watched your video and realized you and your amazing content and humor are more deserving. Good Chit on your channel!
@ Thank you ! I am new to e-bikes. In my short time riding e-bikes I have learned two things: (1) Don’t comment on eCells vs Wired as the things people say about each company and to the person asking the question are awful, (2) Ask people with experience with lots of mileage on the roads on the fundamentals (flats, battery life, maintenance, tips and tricks for the road). Thanks !
We used to go there all the time in the early 2000's. On night we were driving through and this big SUV made sure we didn't stop on the road. It literally "pushed" us through. Kinda scary.
So weird how people will do things like that for no reason. I remember one time when we were kids this big lifted truck chased me and some friends through a field for no reason. Pretty sure thats a felony lol
Thanks!
So much history and knowledge that you shared with us ! Thank you. :)

After that intro, I was too scared to watch!!!😮

Spooktacular chiit head 😂👍🏻✌🏻
Always like your vids and seeing what trails you find!
You should make a video about riding an ebike in the rain maybe!

300 murders a year!? Maybe that's why Macs old house can sell those prime ribs so cheap 😜

The slaughterhouse AKA The Concert Barn.

Wheel of fish!!!
As a former Fox Body Mustang driver, I would never attempt a 90 degree corner above the posted speed limit…
Hard to believe CHP used to use those things daily. I like those cars but they are a liability sometimes. Don't see many around these days

Well I made it to min 8 and had to pause it! To go put my boots on cause the chit started to get deep! LMFAO
Scary episode. Real boner chilling stuff
Jimmy Hoffa body lmfao in Antioch, CA 🤣🤣🤣

@FlyGirl2180 Lucky! I remember when the building was still there but never went in there.

I want to go up to the cemetery after dark one of these days, will not be taking the e-moto as I'm sure they don't want you riding those in the park.
Im scared already and its not even dark....must be ur voice😊
LOL, That was a good one.
On a quiet night you can hear the devil's lettuce crackling😅

THanks man I really appreciate it! Maybe I should get a boob job now
This scared the chit out of me
Lmfaooo its Antioch- megaphone equals cops. Even the ghosts wont speak and probably want an attorney. 🤣
Don’t go getting shot chit 😵💫
How much does that headlight drain from your battery?
It doesn't draw enough power to make any difference at all.
Hi STC - Question for the day - Tannus liners or Flatout ?
@markborao6144 I used to run tannus but switched to flat out. It's cheaper and easier and you get better range

That must mean those gates were the entrance to Antioch!
Accurate statement
My 15 year old son honors the spirit of the ancients by replicating their cave drawings.
🤣🤣

Jeepers.creepers!
Was chased out by dudes in a lifted bronco and a quad with shotguns , probably 2014? Wonder if it’s the same family from back then.
@@evanderholyfieldsear Crazy to me that people will do stuff like that, especially since its not illegal to be out there and it is a public road
🤦♂️😅😂
1994 last niner SB win.
I'm a Chiefs fan like you
I don’t remember when / where I read this but I swear I saw something about an insane asylum being at the end of the road the gates of hell.
I'm pretty sure the insane asylum was a myth, I heard that too but the location where it was is just an empty field.
Thanks!
Thanks I really appreciate that!
