Ten million people fled the advancing Germans who were unstoppable . The refugees clogged the highways and roads , blocking French army reinforcements from being able to counter attack or shore up places where the French lines had been broken through .
More like 9/11 then WW2 Also I think you’re mixing some events, french were simply not prepared for war like this (nobody was but french were the worst), I think you’re talking about the moment soldiers were retrieving to england (I don’t remember the name of the place, I remember a movie about it came out a few years ago), they were squeeze, impossible to leave, nowhere to go, real apocalypse

At least it appeared to be what some would call “humane”. Fast and painless. That’s what we mostly do to other animals on the planet right? (Not a vegetarian btw but we wouldn’t be any better if we had the technology against our own) suck movie though right up to the ending which was also quick and painless :P
That would be cool, but theres also an indie game being made about this. It has been getting quite a bit of attention lately beause the developer is working hard on it.
The Tripods move so organically and with the blood like liquid and the fact they seem to use organic matter as fuel, I’ve half a mind to believe that they might be biological on the inside
Dakota Fanning RUINED this movie. If she was never in it, the movie would have been a LOT better. Otherwise, I give it a 3 out of 10 score, just because of HER!

She acted exactly like a little girl her age would. I have two teenage daughters of my own, and her performance was spot on.
