シェンホアも強キャラ出してたんだけど、如何せんロベルタが最凶過ぎてソーヤと共に噛ませ犬になっちまうんだよなぁ。
偽札編でシェンホアが敵側として出てきた時もレヴィとエダ2人がかりでなければ倒せなかったし近接戦闘では間違いなく上位の強さなんだが、狂犬ロベルタが世界観ぶっ壊すレベルの強さだったから本当に可哀想。
ロベルタは薬でタガが外れちゃって人間が出せる力の範囲を超えてるからあれは誰にも勝てないよな。攻撃受けてぶらぶらしてる自分の親指かなんかを噛みちぎるシーン狂いすぎて一生覚えてる

I could see how you might think Japanese gives “more personality” to the characters if you’re Japanese or speak it but I doubt that

@Spider-Man died with Stan Lee it isn’t mediocre tho, an anime that for the most part isn’t based in Japan and has characters of different nationalities is automatically superior in dub for the most part. English VAs can convey accents which make the characters sounds more realistic and full of life. Wtf was going on in the sub during the translating scenes? Were they all speaking Japanese even tho one side was Russian and clearly needed translating😂

There’s also no way you said Revy is bad in dub💀 her English VA is miles better than the Japanese one but to each their own I guess. I think a lot of dub haters don’t understand/speak Japanese so you don’t actually catch on to cheesy or bad voice acting whereas you’ll easily notice those flaws with an English VA.
But either way, there is no such thing as a lower quality product or higher quality one (at least for black lagoon) as it is entirely subjective which is why I think the dub is miles better and you think the opposite. Imo, the dub is more realistic and gives more life and personality to the characters based on the fact that most of the show isn’t based in Japan with japanese culture, instead there are many different nationalities and it’s represented better in English, whereas you don’t distinguish that in Japanese. That’s simply my opinion as an English speaker, but like I said, I respect ppl who watch only sub, I don’t care as it doesn’t affect my life in any way and we are all enjoying the same show. My problem is when sub elitists hate on good dubs for no reason, it’s so cringe and annoying to me. Your first comment was completely unnecessary which is why I started arguing with you. Sub elitists like you are miserable and attention seekers, it’s like you think you’re something special or above dub watchers, it’s funny and sad at the same time.
