Well, I’ve learnt something today. I’ve not come across the slow sinking feeder method before. A couple of the club waters I fish are very deep, one especially so, and it would be a good method to try on them in the summer I suspect. Thank you.
I say slow sinking feeder a lot, but the guys were fishing a slow sinking bomb, usually crystal teardrop shape and you fill them with water to control the speed they fall. Similar concept to pellet waggler however you can go much deeper and catch through the levels. You need to feed a lot of pellets regularly over the top. 👍
@@MatchfishingTVUK Interesting. When I googled ‘slow sinking feeder’ I came up with an Angling Times video using a semi-buoyant cage feeder which releases the feeder content on impact and sinks with the hook bait quicker than that the feeder does.
Lots of different types out there to experiment with. I always prefer to use pellet waggler when I can, just love seeing a float go under! This is more cast and wait for a run.
@@MatchfishingTVUK I would agree but unfortunately I’m waiting on a cataract operation which has been delayed due to COVID issues. Until that is sorted, I can’t see a float unless it is in the margins. My fishing at the moment is all feeder with some bomb fishing.
