In my opinion one of the if not the biggest missed opportunities was this guy. He had world champion written all over him. It’s a shame those things happened but at least he was able to shine in Impact.
It's fascinating to hear from guys who started on TV right around the time I started watching wrestling, hearing their experience going through developmental back in 2004-6 and what was backstage like in 2005-6 especially, very cool, it's so disappointing that nothing came of Anderson's career in the WWE, sure he was memorable and was involved in some good stuff, but that was because he was good and it feels like he should've done a lot better because all of the right people seemed to have agreed that he was good.
Mr. Kennedy/Anderson is one of those guys that could have been huge in WWE. He had the look, charisma, mic skills, and good in ring work. He is still one of my favorites.
Haven't watched wrestling in years, but when I did, Anderson/Kennedy was one of my faves. After Goldberg, then AJ Styles, he was that wrestler that I adamantly rooted for and wanted to see win. A lot less talented guys have been given greater opportunities. It's unfortunate Anderson/Kennedy star wasn't allowed to shine brighter and longer.
Mr. Anderson would've been the next Piper! And the Miz would've been after. Imagine the angles of Mr. Anderson and Miz as a tag, as well as the feud that could've been. The two would've been a classic. Even for the PG era!
From Green Bay Wisconsin... Weighing 235 pounds MMMMMMMRRRRRRRRRRR KKKKKEEEEENNNNEEEDDDDYYYY!! KENNEDY!!! This guy was so authentic and legit great on the mic ✨ should’ve held a bigger title in the WWE ring in though
It was such a sudden for him to be released by WWE especially at a young age not knowing the truth of his release & suddenly ends up being in TNA becoming a champion. The internet was at a different age too
Mr. Kennedy was the first heel I became a fan of when I was growing up watching WWE (when I thought pro wrestling was 100% real)... I always hated heels (as they should be hated since they're heel), but Mr. Kennedy just felt different for me at the time because of his charisma I guess... Not to mention his moveset is SVR 07 was underrated IMO.
His moveset is alright but god that game makes me hate him and not the way I'm suppose to. Leveling up characters in story mode means fighting against him a million times and his gimmick gets stale fast.
he looks great, was always a huge fan of his, didnt catch most of his tna stuff but always thought he got shafted in wwe, I hope hes still wrestling cuz he looks like he could still go
Mr. Kennedy was without a doubt the biggest missed opportunity in WWE history. He should have been a megastar. He can talk, wrestle and had the most unique gimmick at the time. To this day, I shake my head at how they dropped the ball on him. He beat 7 world champions in a row and won MITB. If they had made him WHC I feel like he could have been the next Austin or Rock. Same currently with Eli Drake/LA Knight. The guy can talk and wrestle and is so massively over. Yet they always find a way to drop the ball on guys that could be the next breakout star. It's why I find myself watching other non WWE wrestling shows. WWE has forgotten how to make stars.
This guy should have had Cena's spot, but they ran him out. Fucking ridiculous. This was the only entertaining dude from that era. I stopped watching after he was gone.
He was basically a newer version of Stunning Steve Austin of the 2000's. He had the charisma of Stunning Steve and a bit of Stone Cold attitude packages in one. I was shocked he didn't made it this far within the company.

Agreed Mr Kennedy is AWESOME
Absolutely not an measure of bought about it. Punk isn't even as good as Kennedy was on the mic
Yup, exactly my thoughts man
I'm going to say they have also dropped the ball with Eli drake/la knight wwe has ruined him
He was a threat to orton and cena
Man, his story makes sense. He just came out of nowhere when I watched him in WWE, definitely stood out.
I'm glad to see Mr Kenedy/Anderson. I always wondered what happened to him after TNA.
He was in NWA a couple yrs ago. Idk if he's still there

I miss Mr Kennedy...Kennedy he was cool and could've been a big success

I always wondered what happened with this guy. The whole "Mr Kennedy.... Kennedy" thing was so unique. I was a huge fan.
This man should've been WWE champ and it pisses me off til this day
I absolutely love Mr Kennedy. Both in wwe and TNA.
Awesome to see Mr K looking well. I would love to see him back in NWA

15 years ago, the two hottest rising stars were Mr Kennedy and The Pope…
It was such a sudden for him to be released by WWE especially at a young age not knowing the truth of his release & suddenly ends up being in TNA becoming a champion. The internet was at a different age too
Mr. Kennedy is a amazing wrestler loved his stuff MMmmrrrrrrrrrrr Kennedy...................................................................KENNEDY
One of my favorite wrestlemania moments is mr Kennedy winning mitb at mania 23 the first mania I ever ordered.
Love Kennedy, sent me a birthday message via video, top guy!
Mr. Kennedy, ken shamrock, heel R-truth are the biggest missed opportunities for world champions
Blame HHH and Steph for that. Cant believe people want HHH to run wwe
Man i miss kennedy i hope he comes back one day

Paul keeps it short and sweet he tells you something is good leave it at that
Cena, Orton, and H man hated this guy. Vince loved him
The original Heyman guys were all back in the late 80s and early 90s.
Wasn’t Chris Benoits death what derailed the whole him being Vince’s long lost son story line
He got injured
Mr. Kennedy was a walking WM main event that we never got.
Randall and Jonathon got this man fired 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
he looks great, was always a huge fan of his, didnt catch most of his tna stuff but always thought he got shafted in wwe, I hope hes still wrestling cuz he looks like he could still go
It makes me so sad to know how much he could have done, but just was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Why we always we talk about the past thing , everything happens for reasons, we should look forward for today and tomorrow

Would be so cool if he could come back to the wwe in some way, is he to old for one final run ? Maybe as a manager for someone
Aren’t all the ECW top guys technically the ‘original’ Paul Heyman guys
Mr Kennnnnnnnedy!
I'm a Mr Kennedy guy 😀
WWE RAW 2022 WWE SmackDown 2022 Mr Kennedy
Brock wasn't the first Paul Heyman guy, he was more than that.
Holy s*** can barely recognize him. Hope he's healthy
Yh Mr Kennedy was goat it's really sad that he did get recognise for the hall of fame also he's mic skills is sick
Lol 😂 you’re too funny.
This guy should have had Cena's spot, but they ran him out. Fucking ridiculous. This was the only entertaining dude from that era. I stopped watching after he was gone.
Kennedy should have been as big as anyone in wrestling. Complete tragedy on both ends of this deal.
Lolol No.
He was basically a newer version of Stunning Steve Austin of the 2000's. He had the charisma of Stunning Steve and a bit of Stone Cold attitude packages in one. I was shocked he didn't made it this far within the company.
It's sad how he acts like he actually became someone relevent. But he unfortunately, never was, neither in TNA nor WWE. 😒
Lol no he wasnt
Eh…to me he was overrated AF, unique entrance thats it
Does he still Wrestle???
