What a cracking way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Ive got a RSV mille and bought some genuine Aprilia carbon scoops and mine too are littered with pinholes. Guess the Italians cant do carbon fibre all that well. Cant wait for the next part
What a fantastic channel. Great detail on how you identify the problem, what your solution is and then the work involved getting it looking like new again. I love the way you add in commentary and clips of the bike racing involving the Aprilia. Keep up the great work. Regards.
Thank you very much John much appreciated 👍 yeh I added the videos so it does remind people how successful the Mille was in racing ...it really is one of the best bikes ever built and a pleasure to ride
I had an 03 Mille a few years ago now, sold it for personal reasons and several bikes later, I have a VFR800. My mate is giving up biking and I have struck a deal with him and have bought his Blackbird and a Falco, which is mint. Whilst not a Mille, this Falco with race pipes is so reminiscent of my old Aprilia and I cannot wait for the better weather. The Aprilia is just an incredible bike. Best wishes and here's to your next video. @@PXCMEDIA

Yes it's the vacuum process that has not been done correctly to get all the Sir out of the gel coat as it cures... Its a pain to rectify afterwards

@johnpirie3800 thank you yes Falcos are a great looking bike I do like them
Why didn't you source new carbon panels instead of repairing them?
These SP panels are extremely rare and not available that I know of
