Lol I'm in telecome and this was just a light bulb in my head when I watched this haha. Never would have thought it, but you did! Great idea. Constantly worried about losing a rod, as I muskie fish from a yak a lot. Great vid. Subbed man. If you'd like to check out my channel, I'm from KY, and yak, wade and bank fish for muskie, bass, crappie, walleye, trout and also go shark fishing. Thanks man. It's either a rod leash or some pool noodles, but thanks for the vid!
I like the idea but electrical tape gets sticky from the sun & weather, put the tape on first then slide the shrink tubing over it.
Dale D yes that’s a good idea as well thanks for watching.
Should have put electrical tape under heat shrink as it compressed down the bond will be tighter then put a double wrap over the top then
Yeah would be better, but I was explaining a more inexpensive way to do it. Thanks for watching.
Love the tense music... XD
Very nice 🤟
Thanks hope it helps out

You can buy them for $6-7, why would you go through all of this?
Why do you care so much? And I don’t know where you’re getting reliable rod leashes for $6 or $7. Any way thanks for the 2 cents.
