Totally agree. I have been doing that for about a year now as it's been a previous request and it has helped a lot. My last video I forgot to turn it on and you can see the notable difference it makes. Thanks for the kind words.
Cool.. I think I better go back through the Beta ones to see how to compare two laps from two different sessions (on same day) i.e slowest and fastest and work out where i made up time
Comparing laps from two different sessions isn't easy to spot first time around. If you use the control key, you can select days, then sessions from days to compare and open them at the same time using the little yellow folder from the top menu. Do let me know how you get on.
I’m having the same issue. I can open 2 sessions but they are in different tabs. How can we open laps from 2 different sessions and compare them on the same graph. Thanks
Hello, I ask you... when I compare tests from different batches or from different riders, the graphs are not aligned since they have different opening points back on the track... how do I correct this so that the references are aligned? thank you
Hi there James. I want to ask, I don’t see the export data function in Race Studio 3 yet. Is it a work in progress? I’ve always export data from race studio analysis to use as data overlay video on race render 3
Hi Karthik. There is a function for this. When you are in the test database, navigate to the buttons just above the list of sessions (the middle). Select the session to export, then click the button which is a white page (like a page from a notebook) with the red arrow pointing to the right. That is your export button. Do let me know if this works!
@@JamesColborn hi james that function exist as you said to export files. But its the same file exist inside the race render data folder. I am looking to export as CSV file for video data overlay file. Which is nowhere to been seen. It is somehow very straight forward in Race Studio 2.
Ah. I don't know the answer to be honest. I recommend reaching out to AiM via RS3 and asking that. Good question. Also remember all of your data is still in RS2A so you can always export from there if needed.
@@JamesColborn yes I still use rs2 for export csv files, meanwhile rs3 data analysis so fun to play with especially the google map function. In the meantime I’ll reach out to aim website for more missing functions. Thanks James
I feel like I've slipped into a time machine to the 80's and I should have a 5.25" floppy loading the operating system and then another to load Race Studio and finally the data disc for my mychron 5 kart sessions. This is not a user-friendly program at all. The word salad tutorials are painful and navigating the software is like trying to put down a flyer with cold tires on a wet track in the dark
@@JamesColborn I'm just used to clean and intuitive user interfaces. There are so many icons crammed into the Race Studio main page, that it's hard for me to navigate. I guess my initial comment was a little harsh due to my inability to easily navigate so much information. I'll find someone who uses it regularly and see if they can help me with my questions.
Outstanding ! Thank you James
My pleasure!
Excellent thanks James. Can be difficult to see your mouse cursor. Perhaps use a coloured large one??

@@JamesColborn Yes, it opens both sessions then, but in different Tabs, can you tell how to get Laps from different days into one Graph?

If you are all using the same map on your devices, it should work well. Did you try loading the same map for all open sessions? Thanks!
Hi ! Where can I find raw data to train on this software ? I'm not driving but I want to learn about data !
Hi Maxens. Have a look on the AimSports webinar series. Usually there are data files to work with under each of their webinars. Thanks!

Hi! Thank you for the feedback, I'll pass this on to AiM. What are you looking to do and perhaps I could help.

Too many words too little content. Exasperating.
