    This is an excellent and easy to make primitive version of the commercial Military Speedhook for passive food procurement.

    This is live class footage, so the audio and video quality just is what it is. I first learned this trap from Dave Canterbury himself, and this trap is often taught as part of the Pathfinder School curriculum. As always, the Long Red Braid and I appreciate your views and your comments and your support of this channel. Thank you in advance for subscribing and continuing to learn with us!

    NICE! I like to see the improvised ways to do things even though there are commercial options. It expands horizons for sure. Thanks brother!

    I was a baaaaad boy, and skipped a few classes to spend a day fishing at a stream near my school. I didn't have any gear so I took some line and hooks people had gotten tangled in trees near the stream. I made some improvised speed hooks, and caught a lot of fish. I always cooked what I caught, fresh fish right there near the stream!

    Very Nice video on these "Fish'in Helper's" I bet some Willow Y Fork's would work really well for these "Helper's" also, I would think anyway. I've got to try them.

    i wish so bad i was there with you guys. Question.. my fishing kit, is it ok for me to keep my hooks, monofilament line, a little bait and a sinker in a plastic bag or should i buy one of those cylindrical waterproof cases? the mini ones?

    • @GrayBeardedGreenBeret
      @GrayBeardedGreenBeret  5 років тому

      I doubt the plastic bag would last long before getting holes n it from the hooks, letting humidity and moisture in, and then getting rusty inside the bag. Maybe if you are in a super dry area you could get away with a bag
