Here is the long awaited baking video! This video features special guest Lily Evans, as her and Sirius attempt to tackle the challenge of baking a chocolate cake for Remus. As always, nothing is simple when Sirius is involved.

Sirius excessively and dramatically spraying the pan is me. I love to bake but both my pans and oven are old, so sometimes things stick no matter what, which means I get blamed for “not spraying it enough” so I make a show to anyone who’s in the room. 😂

So just a note...putting boiling water in with the eggs like that would have cooked them and made the cake taste a little funny or burned...I’m not sure what recipe you were using but I think regular or warm water would have been fine. It looks great! Good job Pads!

The cake actually turned out really good, tasted great and everything. The recipe specifically called for boiling water, which I thought was weird, but worked out just fine.
