Thank you for your reaction to Zhou Shen. Zhou Shen is very unique. Other than having a mixture of youth & female voice(actually he just has higher pitch voice ), soft yet powerful, he hums very beautifully as well. He plays with his voice, sang many OST for games, animations, dramas , movies and even pure humming songs with no lyrics. You will be able to "view pictures" in his songs when listening to. He is able to sing in different languages & voices in a song.

To tell you a bit of his background. He got bullied when he was young just because his voice didn't change when puberty came but that was not his choice and people called him names..... because of that he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. It takes a long time for him to accept his own voice again and gets where he is now.
He has studied Dentistry in Ukraine when he was young but because of the language barriers, he changes to studied Classical music there instead. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music together to introduce to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is very wide and his breath control is very good. He is a polite, funny, and humble guy. He can sing at least over 12 different languages. He can even sing 6 different voices in one song. His music has so many different genres.
If you are willing to dig into his performances, you will be amazed by his talents. A lot of music can heal people's bodies but not many can heal people,'s, souls. Zhou Shen's music is one of them that can heal your souls. Thank you again for reacting to Zhou Shen's performance.

He was 21 years old when he sang this song and he studied tenor in Ukraine. Now he is 28 years old and has many good performances. He can sings more than 10 different languages. He likes to add Bel Canto or Opera (sometimes Chinese Opera) in Pop songs. Bel Canto: "Think of me","memory" , "Time to say goodbye " and " Baby до свидания".Romantic:"Vincent", "My heart will go on" , "Eyes on me","Rubia" and "Sanctuary". Diablo songs, such as "Ring the doorbell and listen by myself" , "Unravel" and "The Song of Heaven Island" .Pop" : "This is me" and "Champions"

Zhou Shen's performances on Voice of China really helped to launch his singing career. I love Zhou Shen pronounced Joe Shun. I watch many Zhou Shen performances that are in Chinese without ever knowing the English lyrics, but that has not stopped me from loving his music! More Zhou Shen reactions, please.

I still remember his first stage and being absolutely torn when he lost the first challenge. But Zhou Shen got to the top with his own abilities + hard work and now his popularity has gotten a closer to his skills. I genuinely hope he can be on the international stage one day, he’s got the ability to do so.
Love your reaction, it was the same as mine when I saw the voice of China years back xD. I hope you’ll continue to be surprised and enjoy the performances he brings. If you’re planning to do more reactions from him, I suggest *Dalabengba* (where he acts out 5 characters and uses 5 voices w/o a voice changer) or *Big Fish* (it’s the song that allowed a large part of the public to accept and enjoy his voice). By the way, you can call him Charlie, it’s his western name. But if you want to call him by his Chinese name, it’s pronounced similar to Joe Shen :)

This is he fist singing competition on TV Zhou Shen went in 2004 while he was still studying Vocal in Ukraine . Zhou Shen is now one of the best singers in China! Check it out - he sang many English and Italian songs
