I think you can definitely cut the hand traps and just play it like Thunder, if you go first set up the omni negate board, and if you go second you just make borrelsword for game.

I think the zefra variant is the best. Spitting out 5 negates easy along with the hieratic seal getting you to special summon amorphage goliath or sloth on your opponents turn. Pure endymion is okay but it bricks more for me
Hi Tom, love the decklist! I'm an old Zefra player (my first top was with Zefra back in April of 2018 and I've been playing the deck casually since zefraath came out) so obviously I was super happy when Endymion came out and some realized just how good the combo was. I would love to theorycraft this deck with you sometime! I've got some unique techs of my own and I'd love to introduce you to them!
How is Jackal getting a spell counter off of Servant's effect to SS herself from scale? @ 13:31 I wouldn't think Jackal would get a counter. Someone explain this lol
14:40 You could Pendulum summon with Gate Zero in Skale, then pop Gate Zero to add Servent and normal summon Servent cause you havent used your normal summon til this piont. Just in case none of your random Cards in Hand are Monsters.
Also, worse Pot of Desires since you have to use it at the end of the turn while desires can be used anytime, and even that isn't too good in this deck.
It’s a combo deck as ever (like litrally needs 3 spells and a servant to resolve) going is hard vs negates but because there is soo many turbo cards in the deck you can bait out the negates and just borrlesword for game
Zefra Wendi is also a psychic for summon sorc plays. I'd cut saryuja or absolute for summon sorc. Helps extend plays a tooon when drolled. Also metaphys Horus is nuuuuuttttsssss. It helps stack shit with oracle and draw it when u overlay into bounzer
I do question why you opted against Yazi into Mare Mare. It's a combo that helps you into borrelsword/general L4. It's something I prefer in my personal build but if possible could you explain why you opted against it because I'd like to hear your personal reasoning.
I would assume it's because it's only good on the draw, takes up three valuable extra deck slots, and doesn't achieve an otk any easier than this deck already does
@@snipsnapification That is so but there are monsters that could definitely be cut (borreload isn't necessary, savage is situational and I'm sure there are other work arounds). I suppose it could be a side deck option for a going second matchup since the deck is primarily first with some (minimal) going second potential. It's just a personal thing I like to break boards when you can't make one going first
He runs alot of bricks in the first place. Gate O and the zefra trap along with handtraps. The more bricks you load your deck with the more your hands become unplayable with.
@@MrKenkennek You're 100% right on that however 1 garnet for an entire going second strategy has value in my opinion. If you're more concerned with the bricking, put it in the side for if you do end up second. Yes, it does take up side deck space which is needed for anti-spell removal but (as a draco player) when you've got nothing for going second it can feel like it's impossible to break through a board and this tech is very good at picking apart the board and dwindling the opponents resources while still making your own advantage. You do run that extra brick chance but when you can yazi pop and security Dragon bounce and make a borrelsword, you're going to break through their board if you've baited the negations. Endymion jowgen makes me shudder so yes it would be broken. Having negates and locking summons with beefy bois on board, yeah no thanks and I played judgement when it was legal and felt bad every single time for how broken it is

Im not a fan of the first combo you showed, there is so much potential in this 3card combo, for example 5Negates + (any Handtrap, Exterio, thunder king rai-oh, restricting special summons)
Better off adding in a magician engine aswell and overclocking the 40 card deck. You can make stronger boards and can shrug through multiple negates. Only problem the deck honestly is hurt from is Droll, but what deck isnt
Base combo: you send zefraxi, not a 7 scale zefra and call zefraath "scale 7" with Zefraxi sended. Waht a big warning. But i got it. Ty for the deck profile.
Actually you misplayed in the first combo. Instead of recurring servant by popping zero you should have recurred jackal by popping oracle. That way you can get 2 jackal on board and the rest stays the same. Also you are perfectly allowed to pendulum under electrum. Just link it away with the electrum to make triple burst
A bunch of misinformations here. You can't pop the hieratic Seal during your turn. Also there's no need to make a dawn dragster instead of a cyberse quantum dragon, which helps protect your board. Also, sometimes (like in your test hand, when you have enough negations to protect your amorphage), is better to summon Goliath off elpy, to completely shut down your opponent. Also, aether is a very nice hieratic spheres target, since it provides double disruption out of One single card effect. And please, fill the zone under electrumite with a monster. Every Monster is good. You're going to link It away for making your triple burst anyway. Always pendulum summon as many monsters as you can. Oh, and for god sake, put in more dragon Shine. This is the reason why i ususally don't like pendulum decks. They are all just a mix of the best pendulum cards we have and most of the time end up on pretty much the same board with a few deviations for each version. At this point it's like there aren't pendulum archetypes, but pendulum itself is the archetype. Thats why i like Endymion so much. It has it's own personality and doesn't need all of this other pendulum stuff, that pretty much every pendulum deck ever plays. Even Electrumite is more like a bonus you can go into rather than a must resolve effect. Even though you pretty much have to play Mythical Beasts in every build, with their gimmick also being spellcounters, it feels more like a second half of the Endymion archetype rather than just another generic pendulum uargh. This profile makes me sad... I don't say this to offend anyone, but because it basically confirms what i just said about pendulums. Though this mostly only counts for competitive Pendulum decks.
