Magnificent! Definitely one of your best videos. You have inspired us to visit East Macdonnell Ranges. Obviously its beauty is the main drawcard but lack of crowds is very appealing. Loved the tree hug, reflections, fires and spectacular scenery. Many thanks for sharing.

Glad you liked the video - we had been to the West Macdonnell Ranges before, but never to the East - ironically we hadn't even planned to go there on this trip and only decided to do it when we gave the north (and its crowds) the finger and headed south early, so had some time up our sleeves. Absolutely worth putting that area on the list of places to go.

I can still recall sitting in the showroom with the Clay, the AOR salesman at the time, with us saying "No, we don't need a heater, we live in QLD"...tut, tut...
There are probably another four or five episodes left, then the trip is over :( just like in real life.

Another great video, well done & thanks for your tireless efforts. Would you mind sharing what sort of equipment you use for shooting & editing?
    thanks

PS, Is it You Tube Premium that allows you to add the music?

Glad you enjoy them Peter - we have various cameras, the main one is an old Canon XA10, still going strong after many trips to the dust and desert, diving trips on liveaboards, Antarctica, tropical islands, etc, so pretty amazing it is still running (much like ourselves). Our editing software is Pinnacle Studio 15, sadly the last version of Pinnacle before they were bought out by Corel and the simple, but excellent software swapped out with Corel's awful excuse for a video editor. Music is just added through Pinnacle, but it is always a struggle to tiptoe around the ever changing copyright rules on UA-cam - videos that have been fine for years, suddenly get blocked, because some executive and a record company decides to make a change to the rules.
