I hope the younger skaters like Chris because I know a lot of the older gens love him. He's like of that Andy Anderson level of positive and always shredding in their respective way. I will 100% buy a CH board! I'm hoping it's old shaped with a bit more nose. Like the newer versions of the Roskopp.
His personality is so wholesome. I personally have a crush on him cuz he's obviously attractive, but it's his personality that gets to me. Cool dude and I hope he keeps up the awesome shredding
street grabs, droping his knee, fast skating, bashing his board up obstacles I love watching chris skate so many good videos but i love him skating off the roof getting the clip right before the cops show up, that and skating the abandon mall, the long beach sign are all such rad videos
This is awesome, I've been a big fan of Chris's skating for awhile, and I've really been hoping to see that deck hit the stores soon! I wanted to donate a graphic idea, but I'm sure Powell has that covered lol. Great interview - It's funny y'all talk about the College Skater - I started getting into trying to really skate between high school and college ('98) which is pretty late to actually get good, and was primarily using it to get to class. I'd gotten up to nose stalls to fakie that never quite slid, bailing out of roll on 50-50s, and ollying over a single deck. I've always pushed mongo, and at one point I was cutting through the credit union parking lot, went to slow down, and the board spun out from under me and spiral fractured my ankle in 3 places ('01). I kept skating after getting a plate put in, but never really had the edge to progress until last year when I decided 43 was a good age to learn how to kickflip. I'll let you know how it goes...
Been a fan of Chris since the 1st time I saw him skate. He has that style & approach that makes you get stoked to go roll too. To me that's the main thing I look for when watching skate content. Hearing this has made me a bigger fan of him as a person & im excited to see what the future holds for his skate career. Queue Weakness by McRad... You guys are great podcasters as well. The conversation flows & seems well thought out. Some genuinely good conversation
Just moved to Indiana in 2023. Cool to see a Midwestern dude ripping it. I grew up around east coast BMX culture not far from Dave Mirra and the skate culture over there has slowly been coming out there more and more as well around the surfing culture as well.
My favorite new skaters. Style on the board, style off, trick selection etc…. I’ve been skating welcome darklord setup because it’s the best shape that skates likes normal deck but I’m patiently waiting for Chris’s deck
I just want to add, I really hope that they don’t make the new deck a flight deck. Probably okay for California concrete but it doesn’t take long for the Midwest concrete to make fibers come out and you end up with splinters non stop. It’s a bummer.
FUCK YEAH!!! Chris is getting his flowers by OG's!! Lol. Dude's definitely underrated as fuck in my opinion. Glad to see Wee Man taking note of his talent
Wee Man had a great question...dudes like this that kill on shaped boards make you really think about the evolution of skateboarding. The tricks were always possible on the older shaped boards, but it's like the "skater brain" is what has evolved. Ya'll are making think way too deep on this episode...
Impressed with kids that get down in their own way, with their own style. The stereotypical hive mind in young skaters is becoming a yawnfest ••• big ups to y'all for a good episode
Hey guys, just found your channel and of course subscribed. Future guest idea for you, Rico Abreu. He's one of the best dirt sprint car racers in the world. He's from a vineyard family in NorCal, Napa Valley area. Travels around the country, roughly 100 races a year, with his new wife and dog, Gus racing for his own team. He's a marketing madman with his merch too, which of course you guys need to make some "Lil Revolution" merch. Cheers boys!!
@LilRevolution YES!!! LOVE RICO! Have him bring Gus. Gotta go to one of his races, go into the pits, sprint cars are insane. 900 horsepower, 1,100 lb car and Rico manhandles it. Closest he's racing to LA would be at the Tulare Thunderbowl on August 15th, it's by Fresno. Cheers guys, best of luck with the channel. Me, a skater way back when...70's-90's
funny how many flavor of the month skate brands have come and gone while Powell stayed consistent making good products and flowing good riders. there's something to be said about it
Seen this guy in Braille Skateboarding a few times… seems like a smaller, Zesty version of Bam 😐 Not sure how I feel about it… Hopefully he’s more level headed.
This dude is an absolute ripper on all terrain. On top of having a super positive message for people out there that have suffered with serious depression and similar issues. You can also tell he puts his ALL into his skating. Absolute props.
Thank you so much for letting me be apart of this 🖤🖤🖤
Already a legend Chris. Can’t wait for that pro model! End hate, go skate! 🛹🌎🌏🌍

Can't lie, first time I saw Chris I was like "who's this gothic weirdo". But he's grown on me, he shreds and he seems like a good guy. Can't fault him
Same.Saw the painted fingernails but then noticed he has a girlfriend
His personality is so wholesome. I personally have a crush on him cuz he's obviously attractive, but it's his personality that gets to me. Cool dude and I hope he keeps up the awesome shredding

Chris’s style is super rad! The face blush at the end when Weeman made the height joke was classic 😂
Yes. Great style.

You guys need to get ANDY ANDERSON on your podcast.
Chucky doll
Seen this guy in Braille Skateboarding a few times… seems like a smaller, Zesty version of Bam 😐
