interesting article..and one you don't want to hear.
Before we ever consider anything we have to address the elephant in the room.
Greed and ego rule and define our every thought.
If we were mature mentally we would have benevolent rich people and governments.
There would be no police forces or armies or hunger or wars and no crime, a few mistakes but no crime or drug/alcohol abuse and no abuse of any kind and only by misinformation/disinformation - think about it.
Also, as long as we depend on others and hire people who are as greedy and egotistical as we are, we will always be manipulated.
And because some of us rely on imaginary beings to “take care of us” just shows our immaturity by not shouldering our own responsibility.
By believing this, we transfer our "burden of responsibility" off us and puts in on an imaginary entity.
    And the con continues
...and therein lies the problem in a nutshell.
All words associated to our “growing up” pertains to the physical body, not the mind:
Our bodies mature with age but, (and remember there is always a ‘but’ or an ‘if in life), our minds don’t “grow up”:
    grow up defined:
    to gradually become an adult
    adult defined:
an organism that has grown to full size and strength and as you can see, neither word/definition has to do with the mind only the body, and if you say,
“Well, that is understood,” you’re wrong simply because that does not define what the mind does, or in this case, what it doesn’t do and if you still believe that, you will have to try and defined why it’s ‘understood’.
    Be my guest, enlighten me.
..and we better rethink genesis 1:27:
So god created man in his own image, in the image of god he created him; male and female he created them.
How we act mentally is a long, long way from god-like...just saying.
We are too preoccupied hiding behind bottles, drugs and labels instead of shouldering our own responsibilities.
Someone once said, “We act like crows; anything shiny or new takes our attention”.
We don't like to believe this but the truth is not to be denied, we just want and get new bigger playthings and distractions with the same irresponsibility of a 4 year old with a new shiny toy.
..and with our present mental state we have no other options BUT to round them up and force them to obey our laws...Oh, that's what they're doing now..
