Great stadiums. I'm glad you enrich the Europa league by covering the stadiums. Great clubs with rich history in this competition. I hope my club Leeds united make Europe again. I especially like brondby, monaco and Sparta Pragues stadium.
I want to give a friendly advice. In the stadiums information box, you can write the renovation date in parentheses next to the first construction date. It is strange that it says 1931 next to a modern stadium that looks new.
The basketball arena you mentioned, situated under Stade Louis II in Monaco (and named Salle Gaston Medecin) hosted in June 1992 what is known as "the best game nobody ever saw": a training game of the legendary dream team for the 1992 Olympics basketball tournament (held in Barcelona). It was Magic Johnson's team vs Michael Jordan's team, what is regarded, despite being just a training game, one of the best in history if not the best. Pity it was held behind closed doors and nobody got to see it.
I've been in that stadium a couple times, and the stadium architecture alone is a breathtaking experience. (SC Braga is not my club though). And yes, as you mentioned in the video, the stadium is literaly nicknamed "The Quarry" (in portuguese: "A Pedreira"). A beautiful city, with nice and lovely people.
As a Braga fan I’ve been on Municipal over 100 times for sure. It’s a very beautiful stadium but very unpractical for the supporters. During the winter it’s a freezing atmosphere and there isn’t enough parking lots etc. Rains inside of the stadium as well. I recommend to visit Municipal de Braga once for the experience (and on a sunny day, Wolverhampton lads will understand me) more than that is just madness. O Braga é grande!!! ❤️

To be precise, they actually moved into the new stadium in the middle of the 2015-2016 season because in 2016 the stadium has been used to some matches of the Euro The first ever goalscorer of this new stadium is Alexandre Lacazette against Troyes

I have been to the Graz stadium and also Leicester’s new (and old) stadiums. I visited Frankfurt’s old Wald Stadion in 1978, but the new one bears no resemblance whatsoever to the old stadium. I sincerely hope to visit the Genk and Rapid stadiums in the near future and, of course, I’m a season ticket holder at the London stadium. I agree that the LS has some flaws but I really do think that it receives a lot of unfair criticism. This season it has been sold out for every match and the place has been rocking.
I like the London stadium to be fair. I know lots of west ham fans miss the Boleyn ground but times change, sadly Bolyn ground has become like the old San mames and Vicente Calderon and had become redundant. It's sad to see in football because I loved the nature of old stadiums and I went on the vicente Calderon tour in 2014 right before it was demolished. Was witnessing a part of history, where famous goalscorers like Torres, Hasselbaink, vieri, forlan, aguero, Diego Costa, falcao made it their home. a stadium I'd only ever seen on tv on Revista de la Liga. I'm glad you have adjusted to the London stadium. I'm sure another few seasons and all fans will come round to it. Always hard in the beginning
You could've used more recent interior pictures for our Philips Stadion. The pictures used are well over 5 years old. All the seats have been replaced, and it looks so much better, especially the section for the fanatics, which now spell "Oost".
Philips is huge company that is mainly concerned with electrical appliances, they had record labels etc, dunno about screwdrivers, I think they focus on health technology these days, they are one of the world's biggest corporations,I guess.
No. Steep seating is also bad when you are afraid of heights. lol! My friend Brad can testify to this as he clinged to the bleacher underneath him when we went to an Atlanta United game back in their inaugural year. It was at Bobby Dodd Stadium, we were in the upper deck on the west side, and it was my friend Brad's first ever game. He didn't hardly move a muscle. lol!
Arnold Schwarzenegger also lived near the ground of my team Clapton CFC in Forest Gate East London in the 1970s. However I'm pretty sure I won't be able to persuade our club's members to change the name of our ground from the old spotted dog to the Arnold Schwarzenegger stadium I'm afraid.
Philips, worldwide well known for their appliances and light bulbs. It's very odd to hear people not knowing what Philips is, and even people that explain that it isn't a screwdriver company (how stupid can you even be to think this?!) messing up really hurts my brain. Nowadays they're focussed on medical equipment as they've sold a lot of their branches. Philips appliances were once the epitome of quality and still are. But their heyday is over as throughout the 70's until the 90's they were more well known and used in more houses than today. Almost every house had something from Philips. The televisions were top notch. What's left is that at least everyone knows them and thinks of quality when seeing the name. But they're still very big.
Please do the Europa Conference League grounds too! You’ll have smaller more charming grounds to cover as well as Spurs and Roma’s grounds.
