    It would help to remember the sounds if you added the word in which the letters make the sound that you are making.

      @@LogicofEnglish Can you make a video where every time you make a sound you also put a word to the sound, Because it is easier to remember a word then just a sound?

    It's very useful. But we need EXAMPLES. And also frequencies of using. And also an explanation why is that so(origins etc). I still don't know how come English has for "k" sound two letters 'k' and 'c'. Which came first and so on.

    Explain what u mean when u say two letter ay..

      We use that as a cue for students to know that we are not talking about the single letter a making the long A sound. But instead two letter ā that may or may not be used at the end of English words to distinguish between AI and AY

    Please help. I’m confused at the sound in “oo” and “ou”, do they sound as short u? In “ough”, it sounds like uh, am I right? Thanks so much.

    Who would you explain word like ..linguistic ,extinguish ,suicide where u sounds like w ???no phanic to this?

    At the 120 mark is the letters ea you say it makes three sounds. One of the sounds is the long a sound. What word uses ea that makes the long a sound?

    This is helpful! As teach my young children (6 & 4 years old) the multi-letter phonogram sounds do I also repeat the rule?

    how about "bureau"? is that "au" at the end of the word or "eau" at the end of the word?

      There is a rule that says I and O may say I and O when followed by 2 consonants

    This is very helpful . But I have one question. A in father is the same sound as au in author? For me au in author is very close to o in ox or on. Thanks

      in san Jose CA .sorry I just found out where to search for the response I am not good with computers. I thought you did not get my message I am very grateful that you took the time to answered . if I may thank you for opening my eyes all my life I thought I was stupid that I was never going to learn to spell and read you gave me HOPE. I dropped out of school at 10 got pregnant at 12 my son is 13 I have stuggled finding a job that did not require me to read or spell my choices were limited and the ones available paid little and very stressful I know its not an excuse but at the time I thought it was my only choice I work at night clubs went out with older men that would help me financially and hustled my way through life this is the fist time I feel I have a chance to finsh high school get a career I always wanted dream of being a nurse being abol to spen time with my son tack him to the park and do thing that other people tack for granted again thank you your book has helped my a lot

      On the phonogram card I have there are 5 sounds for OU. There are only 4 given here.

      The q is always written with a u and the phonogram qu says /kw/. The u here after q does not form a sound.
