@@Veldazandtea It is not a way to milk consumers because you get the DLCs of the game when they are released. You have to have been living under a rock or you just turned 5. Also I have already pre-ordered Starfield and I will be playing it tonight when early access opens up. They can trust it because Bethesda did a 50 minute deep dive into their game which no company has done before, they have given review copies to the UA-camrs and Media outputs 2 weeks early which again no other company has really done before, and they have said it is the most polished game they have ever made. They are very confidant that they game will be great and I have just watched a few reviews of the game from UA-camrs and they have all said so far the game is amazing while also giving criticism to the game for things that needed it.
Starfield is so interesting to me rn cause Its not even out and already theres 2 circle jerks of people: You have the circle jerk hype train where people think it'll be the best game of the decade, launch in immaculate state, and be the best game ever created by man. Then you have the circle jerk of people desperate to hate this game saying it'll be garbage, buggy, broken, filled with microtransactions, etc. Both sides are equally obnoxious and grasping at literally anything to seem right so when the game launches they can blow their "I told you so" load.
Todd: "There's 95 trillion people in the Milky Way....they are all living their lives...and we have modeled them all in our next game. Its a functioning, fully interactive and photo realistic simulation of an entire galaxy and its all for you to explore for just 60 dollars"
Not only is there no need to preorder, is Starfield is a success, than I'm sure we'll be seeing plenty of re-releases for it. Why buy just Starfield, when you can wait a few years and get the "ultimate Deluxe Anniversary Gold" version for a quarter of the base versions launch price.
Im on PC and I can honestly say its going to be great to buy this ten years later when the mods can give this game the content it sorely lacks and it costs $10. Dude, it doesnt even have a FOV slider and there is literally no real point to exploring any planet because the locations that get generated are always going to be the exact same as the last planet you were on. Definitely not a game to buy until much much later down the road. You are getting scammed if you buy it now.
I have more faith in phantom liberty than Starfield if I’m being honest. CDPR have shown that they’re willing to work and fix the game rather than leave it be and it’s in a better place than when it started. Bethesda has always been the same company, they’re infamous for games that are bugged as hell and modders have to come in and fix it because they can’t be bothered.

the biggest make of break for this game is if it is an RPG or a bethesda RPG, like people when they are shown a city on an RPG expect at least 100 buildings and 1000 npcs walking about, meanwhile bethesda will call 3 houses and 9 npcs an empire.
>Be me by Starfield >Best game ever >Flying around i land on my first planet >Get attacked by primitive locals and taken hostage >Wake up >"You there, youre finally awake" Todds done it again

Then as more footage leaks, I'm like "yeah, this might suck", and now it's just bad. I reap what I sow. It's in no way "skyrim in space". Todd, I kneel... You got me. I'm going to buy 20 more copies just as a sign of respect.
Man, i can't wait to explore those more than 1000 sandboxes full of computer generated structures, all 10+/-5 of them for hundreds of times with slightly different details.
Now that the game is out i have to correct myself, apparently its not 10+/-5 different computer generated locations that look the same, feel the same, and have the same enemies and loot in each instance of them like in NMS, but its actually just 2(laboratories and caves).
Worst $50 i ever spent. I deserve shit for buying it, I know. However, we all fk up occasionally its human. However lesson learned. Ultimately, it saved me a lot of money for never preordering a game EVER again. Plus the diss reviews were entertaining
Hey, at least now you know why you should never preorder lol. The only thing I've ever preordered in my entire life was the elden ring dlc, and seeing that all the stuff that's coming out nowadays is either a cashgrab, dogshit, or both, it's gonna stay that way for a long time.

Different people in the same company. New blood replaced the old. That's why games get worse even if a company used to make good games. It's always the same pattern. The company loses its own self identity. Gets desperate tot ry something new. Then botch it up because they focus on graphics over gameplay. Rushing the game out as a unfinsihed mess. It's happened with Baldur's Gate 3 and people aren't happy about Act 3 being unfinished. Act 1 also has its flaws. Everything inbetween is good though. This game won't do that. Too focused on the graphics, base building (your homes will be empty) and fetch quests. The devs are both sticking too much to what they know while at the same time are rushing into something new without a proper plan. It's obvious. They don't talk about gamplay enough. They don't talk about how the player can actually interact with what's around them. They have nothing to show other then "Look pretty and here's a base you can make". It's No Man's Sky all over again. A empty universe devoid of interactions. With a quest here and there when characters lack any meaningful character depth. The only Fallout games that actually managed to do it well weren't Bethesda. The only games Bethesda has managed to actually do interesting RPG with is Mass Effect. At this point though Bethdesda has fired too many talented people. Those that were part of Baldur's Gate and Dragon Age Origins from what I understand. Some of the BEST RPG games of all time. They. Fired. The best. RPG. Writers. That says it all. Bethesda doesn't understand what good RPG is. You going to hadn your money to people that fire one of the best writers of all time?

After finding your channel, binge watching all of your content for 2 days straight, and having to convince my girlfriend that I’m taking a really long poop in the bathroom instead of admitting I am just watching you videos. I have determined you are a national hero.
Runs on morrowind code, many same animations as FO4, it's the Fallout moon DLC I always wanted, can't wait for the blackface bug to make it's return.
Fleekazoid I absolutely love your videos :D I hope you never stop running your channel
I've heard "Starfield" like 50 times already, I'm ready for this game dammit.
Can't wait for your next Starfield video! Please highlight a few choice bugs, you have thousands to choose from (water jump, ship fly off, unkillable NPCs, ascending to heaven NPCs to name a few)!
playing the game and never ran into those bugs and if those are the top bugs u use than ur straight nit picking like WTF.
water jump never heard of it, ship fly off never heard of those but they sound funny af. unkillable npcs has been a thing since ES4 oblivion if I'm correct, ascending to heaven npcs? that sentence makes no sense and it sounds like fun.
Like 1 wasn't a bug and the other 4 aren't even bad bugs like for bethesda or most games that's not bad at all. and if those are the main bugs that your gonna complain about than the game is doing really well
ALSO THE GAMES IN EARLY ACCESS LIKE MY GUY THERES GONNA BE SOME GOOFY ASS BUGS.
in 6 days they can fix quite a lot of bugs, and even if they don't it's not a bug riiden games really damn well stop ur bitching and go play something else
Todd Howard says this game is going to be great. And he would never lie to us.
You can even preorder the preorder of the DLC for just 100$. Todd is truly the greatest. He would never lie and deliver a broken game. (pls don't shoot my dog Todd)
Yep comes with six day early access too and OST and the DLC and the art book….
@@aaronjohnson1005 Comes with more stuff than some.. other... game companies would offer you for pre-ordering their games.
You know this has been a thing for 20+ years right? Where you buy a Deluxe or Premium version of the game you get the DLCs with it. You must be young if you do not know that by now
@@iko20101 And? It can be 1 year for all I care. It's still what's being done and it being a scummy way to milk consumers. The amount of time it's been around for isn't the main factor.
Fooling people with empty promises and not showing the final product is. Never trust graphics over gameplay. Or art books over gameplay for that matter. Never trust anything you don't see in full. If you only have a "glimpse" then pre ordering is like rushing into a relaitonship blind. You set yourself up for disappointment. Not because of "them" though, it will be because of your own expectations that were not honest and went against reality. Peopel pre order because of desperation and denial.
I get it. There's not many games doing what it tries to do. But that doesn't change the fact there's a history of flawed buggy messes within the company. How can people trust this?
Todd Howard is the greatest liar in gaming history. I can't understand how some people can still give him some credit
Because too be able to see though it requires 16 times the detail.
Starfield is so interesting to me rn cause Its not even out and already theres 2 circle jerks of people:
You have the circle jerk hype train where people think it'll be the best game of the decade, launch in immaculate state, and be the best game ever created by man. Then you have the circle jerk of people desperate to hate this game saying it'll be garbage, buggy, broken, filled with microtransactions, etc.
Both sides are equally obnoxious and grasping at literally anything to seem right so when the game launches they can blow their "I told you so" load.
Honestly, there's way too much of either side and not enough people withholding judgement and waiting for the reviews to come out at least.
At this point, Todd could just put a calendar of himself in skimpy clothes as a pre-order bonus, and the game would instantly be GOTY.
Todd Howard wiped out 90% of all life in the Universe. XD
Todd: "There's 95 trillion people in the Milky Way....they are all living their lives...and we have modeled them all in our next game. Its a functioning, fully interactive and photo realistic simulation of an entire galaxy and its all for you to explore for just 60 dollars"
Can't wait for CBBE and Lover's Lab to make this game playable
Yup, can't even touch F4 without the CBBE and a bunch of gameplay mods
"Too many of the stars are white."
Jesus Flek don't give the gaming press any ideas.
"The modders will come soon." They will. Come. Soon. Indeed.... come.
Once they finish with the mods, they’ll be sure to finish again.
Think about it! Access to the game before the inevitable hundreds of releases.
I wonder which one will be more buggy and unstable at launch: Starfield or Phantom Liberty.
Both.
After all, CDPR devs managed to break even their top game - Witcher 3.
It'll be a tie, considering how Cyberpunk launched.
@@fist-of-doom487 ...Have you not seen CDPR's little talk on ESG?
At this point I'd only trust them to fuck things up again, and then blaming the diversity hires they forced on themselves.
Cyberpunk is 10x better than any of the shit Bethesda has released in a decade
Good video. The deadeye stare is a direct reference to Fallout 3!
I didn't think anyone else would notice that.
Why Starfield is doomed: Emil Pagliarulo is still lead writer
Will shen is the main quest designer.
@@gabemissouri So I've heard, though I'm still very apprehensive as to the overall quality, especially from those 40 minutes that got leaked. The dialogue looked very rough, along with the few lines we saw from the ESRB rating. Still, maybe those are edge cases. If Will Shen is taking over writing the entire story, there is at least hope.
@@Gannoh Honestly I'm looking more forward to the sidequests and ship builder. I am going to try and build the Rocinante from the Expanse.
@@Gannoh Weren't people saying that the leaked dialogue is actually believable for once?
Fantastic videos on this channel, I think I've watched them all. Keep up the great work.
"Think about it" omni man being spammed has me dead.
this video convinced me to buy a wii u to play seinfeld. good job feetazoid.
How'd that work out for ya?
It’s gona suck, everyone knows it, 5 years from now when the modders actually fix it then it might be ok
I see this as a win-win situation. If the game is good, then lots of people will be happy with Starfield. If not, at least we'll have great Crowbcat and Internet Historian videos dissecting the flaws of the game.
„Get that fancy watch so you can track the exact time Todd Howard breaks your heart.“
I died. 😂
Thank you godly todd for a copy of space-out 76 gonna love that early 2000's vibe you keep givin every year yes sir
I already forgot that this game came out
Az was right
Always has been

I can't wait for the infamous bugs and memes this game will create and, inevitably, make it more popular than it should be.
I just love how this is a direct reference to the fact that we got no b*tches.
I have a special playlist where i save the best youtube videos ive ever seen. 75% through the video ive decided this is your second video that makes the cut. Youre funny as hell
“Its just the way it is”
Am i the only one who is annoyed by Bethesda taking credit for Doom and Doom Eternal?
I will think about it in about two years or so after the modders have had that much time to work on the unoffical patch and increasing the budgets.
4:08 what is that from?
Scream all you want to Todd Howard, but I'm not buying your half-baked goods. Nope. My money stays with me, and no '16 times the...whatever' is going to part me from my precious dough. Ya' know?
I am so hyped for this game.
So hyped to spend an entire week watching someone elses playthrough. Before I even re-order a replacement for my expired bank card, or replace that burned out graphics card.
Am I... Am I... becoming a responsible adult?
...
Nah. I'm still probably going to mod it into a space porno.
This might be the best game review of all time.
*I totally forgot they postponed the release for a year. Basically to do nothing, they knew this was going to be a dud. Put woke crap in your product & get ready to lose money.*
Its not the fact that there is dei in the game (that is a symptom of the problem), its that the company is mostly staffed by dei, which are naturally incompetant, after all if they were just as capable as non dei they wouldn't need a quota to get hired.
My coworkers are looking at me weird because im cackling to this video at work
I dont get how people think this game is going to function. fallout 4 barely fucking worked in boston. this is gonna make that game look like a tiny cube in a huge room. I dont get how they could possibly get it to work.
No Aliens and no real space physics its going to be boring
WTF 😂😂😂 Thats the First video i have ever seen from you and i can just say HOLY SHIT WTF is happening here and i Love it when all your videos are like that you have a new big fan 🤔😅😂
I always buy bethesda games a few year after release on sale with all the dlc sincer by then all the needed mods have been made.
the biggest make of break for this game is if it is an RPG or a bethesda RPG, like people when they are shown a city on an RPG expect at least 100 buildings and 1000 npcs walking about, meanwhile bethesda will call 3 houses and 9 npcs an empire.
>Be me by Starfield
>Best game ever
>Flying around i land on my first planet
>Get attacked by primitive locals and taken hostage
>Wake up
>"You there, youre finally awake"
Todds done it again
Such a bizarre ass meme with this game. I preordred the deluxe edition, knowing it would be hilariously broken and would be "a bethesda game".
Shit… it‘s almost like… this is actually how exploring a whole galaxy would feel like?
What are “video games” and “not reality” for 500 Alex?
@@ohmnesialol exactly.
Which wil be devoid of any interactions because NPCs don't move or visit. Don't forget that.
Now that the game is out i have to correct myself, apparently its not 10+/-5 different computer generated locations that look the same, feel the same, and have the same enemies and loot in each instance of them like in NMS, but its actually just 2(laboratories and caves).
I need 16 times the neurons to process how much Fleek just roasted me, this game, the neighbor's dog, and tomorrow's dessert in just one video.
Asmongold looks like a confederate general.
HA! That video aged perfectly!
Damn Fleek are you a prophecy or something?
This is that next level Fleek content I need to get my blood-a-boilin and my loins tense! 10/10 would grind my teeth in anticipation while watching again.

I can't tell if the pimp loves it or hates it; but honestly, i dont think he knows either.
It's the day one gamepass curse I tell you. FEAR THE CURSE
HiFi Rush was a good day one gamepass game though.
Sure it was a level based game and not an open world, but still a great game.
Doomed to make doom look doomed😂😂😂.
Well…it’s starfailed. After watching gameplay livestream.
I'm not mad about the bare bone plants, but the unhealthy amount of loading screens...
"Too many of the stars are WHITE" = Kotaku
Oof.
I like how more Xbox's appear on the table as the video goes on. It's clearly a reference to how many times Skyrim has been ported, THINK ABOUT IT!
Honestly i got super sucked into Oblivion because i didn’t even figure out the fast travel till 200hrs in. Nothing beats peacefully enjoying the scenery till the combat music kicks in because a bear just jump scared you from behind.
Oblivion fucking rocks though, I have as much time in that as I do in Skyrim.
Reasons like this are why people are excited about Starfield lol
Oh man oblivion… that’s when my world ended as it was my indoctrination into the Church of latter-day Todd.
I feel like I’ve escaped Scientology now as I look back on those days…
