Drive-ins are great! Too bad there are not that many around anymore. Yes, its not the most idea way to watch a movie, like you said, but its still a fun experience. Like Anderson would say, "Embrace The Adventure" Cheers!!
@@ShanesCraftBeerReview Exactly! I wish there were more drive-ins that I could go to. It’s always a fun experience, especially for those of us who grew up with them being more commonplace. Cheers, Shane!! 🍻
Ive been to a few drive ins here in Ontario. I believe 1 is still in operations. But find its so much cheaper and watch it on an android box at home the day after the release. Hahaha. Cheers!!! Alan
@@Wattsonthegrill can’t beat that price-wise! I love the experience of seeing movies in the theatre, but it gets so expensive. I can’t remember what this drive-in cost, but it wasn’t much.
Ahhh, didn't realize until now this video had an epilogue. I actually liked this movie a lot and thought it was as memorable as the drive in. Super panned, astonishing that it was ever financed, but memorable in its creativity, music and the I don't give a damn about box office mentality that surely was behind it.
I hate musicals for the most part - and I've never seen Scorcese's Joker... cuz I'm so sick of movies that glorify the villain (or the shitty side of us dang humans...), but I'm happy to hear your thoughts on a movie! Wish we had a drive in on Vancouver Island! Seen anything else recently?
@@andyboycomicsntoys the most recent thing I saw in a theatre was Phantom of the Paradise. I watched The Substance the other night - it doesn’t live up to the hype, but it’s still pretty fun. The best thing I’ve seen in recent months was Strange Darling. Scorsese didn’t actually do Joker, but it was clearly an homage to King of Comedy and Taxi Driver, which I thought was a pretty cool take on a comic book movie. I’ve been feeling superheroed-out for a while now and can only get excited about stuff like that if someone does a different take on it.
My kids loved The Substance, and I totally want to see it. PotP is now officially one of my top 5 favorite movies ever, and I'm probably going to watch it again this New Years!

I've never been to a drive-in (it's a North American thing) but it sounds like an experience. Nice one 🍻
It’s probably a better experience for those of us who grew up with it and like a bit of nostalgia. Others might say “why would anyone do this??”
Alan you are very lucky I love Vermont I haven’t been there in a very long time though cheers buddy
@@DavidArthur-wo7tv it’s a super-cool place. I had a great time there. Cheers, David!

Surprisingly, I have never been to a drive-in theater. It was a musical?? WTF??
That was my reaction, as I was watching it! 🤣
