I think there maybe some similarities with Ronnie's cue action here. You can see on a few occasions he hits it so sweet that the cue leaves the bridge. One of my fave cue actions
when jack is on he can just blow opponents away !! it's taken a while but he's arrived !! practice makes perfect !!! look at judd been around so long had so much potential as a youngster and now finally is enjoying the fruits of his labour !!
@@_diorrr._3045 hmmm, i disagree and if you were to ask him about this particular video segment of his practice, he would say he's not quite on or where he would like to be. Is it possible to ask him? I guess I could go through the trouble of finding out. If he is in fact "not trying", then he has a purpose for doing so. When Ronnie O'Sullivan is "on', we know it, he knows it and knows that everyone else knows it. So Jack, not trying if thats the case, is the fine line he's trying to get in touch with, between trying too hard and not trying hard enough, because that middle, is the goal. So sometimes in practice, you just let it go and let your form and structure take over and just pull the trigger. I am quite certain, most or at least some of the shots that went in or some that even didnt go in, he was happy with and not happy with. I seriously doubt he is results oriented. Hes a world class player and therefore brutally honest with himself. Hes trying to put a good stroke on the ball and I guarantee, thats the most important part to him. If it misses, oh well, but I guarantee he knows when its right. A bad stroke for his level but the shot goes in, hes not happy with that in practice. I guarentee, this sequence of shots in the video, hes not really happy with it. He will also be the first one to say hes not on trump's or Ronnie's level, despite being able to beat them because he knows his best cant beat their best, but it doesn't mean either that he cant best them in the long run if he plays his best but that so far for anyone is basically impossible. We aren't perfect and snooker is a very volatile endeavor. A HAIR on or off at that level is HUGE. Lastly, if he or the rest had a choice between never being in the middle, so you either have to try too hard and grind, or just play loose and not think too much, they will all pick trying too hard and grind....thats your "B" game....your real game. I'll see if I can get a hold of this man Jack. Ill ask in the comment section for starters.
Jack is an exceptional player....Gloucester has produced some great players with him at the top, along with others including, Milkins, Pearce, Wasley...and all from the same club originally I think.
He's 66/1 outsider for the masters Trump is 5/2 and he should have beat Trump last week. Considering it's just 4 matches and anything is possible I'd say those odds are very generous now his confidence levels must be sky high.
There are 3 players that i hope will win tournaments and that is lisowski, thepchaiya and zhao xintong
