I'd pop on a mask instead of meds regarding the smoke. Unless you really need the meds.

We do when we're outside but it has been weeks straight now without any relief. The air inside is better (especially when filtered) but it's not great either. If you leave your window open just a crack your whole house will smell like a campfire. It's just devastating.
