- Isaiah is a sight to behold. Standing at 5’9’’, he’s about the same height as Nate Robinson, which means they are the shortest players in the NBA. That makes no difference to Isaiah, of course. His forceful forays to the rim are made all the more impressive by the fact that he goes around, under, and most of the time, even through bigger guys.
The 6th man of the year runner-up in 2015 brings an intensity and aggressiveness to the Celtics that was lacking before the trade. He finished the season third in free throws attempted per game by point guards (behind Russell Westbrook and Eric Bledsoe).
The little lefty is incredibly crafty. His handle is tricky and his touch is terrific. He contorts his body any way he needs to in order to get the contact and force free throws. He seems to crave contact, like a few other guards who come off the bench and bring that scoring punch (Manu & Harden) and it’s always an adventure with how he gets to the line. Playing for one of the league’s great franchises, Thomas has a name that reminds of the all-time great (though spelled slightly different), but under Brad Stevens’ brilliance, he may show that he’s a name worth mentioning in his own right.
For every small guard watching this video, notice a couple things.
1. How he puts the ball up on the glass quickly when faced with taller defenders
2. His ability to handle through traffic
3. How he changes speeds on the fly + his hesitation move.
He uses these things most often, and if implemented into your game correctly can make you a DEADLY scoring threat. As well as a jumpshot(:

Another tip : don't shy away from contact. Go after it. He always goes body to body when he's in the air
Also one more : protect the ball with your body. When isaiah splits the defense you see him using his shoulder to prevent opposing players from stripping the ball from him

Careful he’s a hero
He is literally attacking bigs that are over a foot taller and he is somehow scoring efficiently, how is this even possible?

Isiah is so good but he's over look because of his height, believe me I'm one of them which is such a shame. I honestly think if isiah was 6 feet tall he would be the next Allen iverson. Maybe even better

Lord Lightskin I'm sort of working on one. It's hard because he does so much really well in the paint (floaters, lefty finishes, up and unders, etc.) so you'll see one on here at some point but I don't know what exactly to hone in on at the moment.
I'm tellin you man, do one on his floaters. He has backboard, underhand, and regular floaters that are crazy good
