- Can I beat Pokémon Scarlet with Hardcore Nuzlocke rules - using ONLY NEW WATER type pokemon? (No items, No overleveling, Set mode)
HARDCORE NUZLOCKE RULES:
1. Only one WATER type Pokemon per area
2. If a Pokemon faints it must be boxed
3. I cannot overlevel beyond the Gym leaders ace
4. No items in battle (held items are okay)
5. No duplicate species can be caught
6. Must nickname Pokemon

Despite Gen 9 flaws, it was definitely one of their best games to date. I actually grew to really like Terastalizaing, not to mention you have great variety of pokemon to choose from. Monotype runs are definitely different what with the fact you can basically have any tera type you want.
Look I don't want Gamefreak to get lazy and rush them out with bugs, but I can't deny that they are fun!

Too bad couldn't use Palafin as would've loved to see your strat for activating it's ability safely
Would've interesting to see you get Dondozo and Tatsugiri for the Ryme double battle to see there teamwork in action
Also any specific reason you chose Scarlet over Violet and miss out on the version exclusive Water type Tauros?
If weren't restricting to new water types would you have done the Paldea Wooper for Johto Wooper in-game trade?
Honestly I was very close to starting the run on violet once I got to Iono, just for Tauros. I simply forgot lol. Tatsugiri and Dondozo would have been over the level cap for the Ryme fight also, but would have been fun for sure!

Very weird/cool of you to do this in Pokemon Scarlet over violet, As you restricted yourself to 2 less encounters (Iron Bundle, Tauros Aqua Breed)

Quaquaval may not be as good competitively as the other starter final evos, however it is certainly the most fun to use and sweep with, and it has the best design of the 3 imo

The quacks has moveset to cover both and just cover many pokemon, while it hits so hard on neutral targets. he kinda cracked ngl

You can grind EVs more effectively in this game, in Deliberd Present, you can buy the power items from the beginning of the game. They each add 9 EVs to your total gain, so instead of getting 2 EVs per Flamigo, you would get 11.

Unpopular opinion: Dondozo might be the past form of wishcash. JUST LOOK AT BOTH OF THEM. If you do then you'll see the striking similarities
They do look kinda similar, although Dondozo is a fair bit bigger!

No offence, but I think you should change your thumbnail, as you don't get to use palafin because finizen got taken out. Also, why didn't you use quaxwell against the bombardier titan?
No offence taken! I used quaxwell in the second faze and had to switch him out for wigglet as he was close to fainting.
