My guess is that Tom is very good at actively listening to people and observing them. That's probably why he's so good at impressions (or a good actor in general)
yeah he's definitely very sweet and wears his heart on his sleeve, which is why a lot of people like him. he also seems to be very aware and focused on the people he's having a conversation with, giving them his full attention
I love Tom Hiddleston! Something that might be interesting would be a reaction/analysis of Jimmy Fallon because as a host/tv personality, he’s had a lot of practice communicating with people. For example, how does he change his interview approach based on other people’s personalities? Idk, just a thought. Love the video!
I mean he went to school for acting so he’s definitely very good at paying attention and being a good listener. He’s also always said to be a nice person, like he always gets to know the camera people on set
Nothing I hate more than someone not looking at me when I'm speaking. 😉 People should direct their full attention to you so they know you are listening. Great review from a great guy! xo
I think Tom’s background has something to do with the way he moves and talks. Sorry, but I’m a huge fan of the man and he’s like Dorian Gray, he doesn’t age! So anyway: He comes, like many people, from a broken home but as he has said many times, he’s not estranged from anyone in his family (he’s a sister too). His dad had a very good job (I think he’s an engineer) and the mom is renowned in hers, which is managing everything that happens behind the curtains of a theatre. I guess that’s what started the attraction for acting. As mentioned before, his family comes from money and he even has an ancestor that belonged to the nobility. Therefore, he went to Eton (the poshest school in the UK, equivalent to preK-12 grade in the US and international school). There he met Prince William and Eddie Redmayne (he was either a year younger or a year older but made friends fast with Eddie and played Rugby against or in the team of Prince William. You can’t get posher than that, lol. Then he went to study at Cambridge what would be literature with a major in performing arts. So the guy speaks fluently (besides his mother language, of course) French, Spanish, some Italian, Greek, German and Latin. The man is smart. After that he went to study performing arts at the famous RADA school and started playing some small roles in tv, movies and one particular role in a Dostoyevsky play was his break through because he acted along Kenneth Branagh. He’s the one who finally casted as Loki. The guy is a GREAT actor. I think I’m this scene where he’s having a big argument with Odin. Or his role in a veeery sad movie called The Deep Blue Sea or the miniseries The Night Manager which I recommend a lot and he won a golden globe. This is what us Psychologists do as the beginning of a clinical history, lol. I hope I didn’t bored you too much but all this explains a lot of Tom’s behaviors and how it seemed to let Jimmy Fallon have the control of the interview while it was Tom the one steering the ship. In the end he’s quite a personality because when he was praised, he had the humbleness to blush a bit. What do you think Max?
Hey :) I would love for you to react to the zane Lowe interview with Harry styles. It has something very special about it communication wise and I’d love to hear your thoughts!!
Thanks for your reactions, absolutely enjoyable. It’d be awesome to see you react to this interview with Selena Gomez, this is an emotional and an open interview. ua-cam.com/video/2D6qaZTOAXs/v-deo.html
Crying on Demand is not impressive to the point you're making -- as acting he pulls out the 'box' to preform that....certainly bc he went over what points would be highlighted in this interview beforehand. You aren't making much a point, Max.
Who's next?
