That is an elegant design indeed! I like how it allows the motors to be fixed in place on the outermost frame. This arrangement will introduce a tiny bit of a cardanic error, but I would guesstimate it to be negligable at ±15°. I tip my hat off to this.

Would you mind if I used a slightly modified version of your model/design for a product I'd like to sell?

I don't own this idea mate so can't take liability or give you any permission as to what you do with it.

    Thank you very much.
I know electronics, but I couldn't design something like this. Now I can finally can make FFB happen. Anyway, if you need the electronics part, just ask.

I'm in the process of creating the parts list and the circuit diagram. Seen on it on your website, I think I'll use OS-CL instead of MSFFB2. Expect to hear from me somewhere at the end of this month, since it's just my hobby, but I'm on it.

@@vrflightsimUK There's progress indeed. It's just that I didn't find the right motors yet. The hardware isn't really what holds me back, but how I could implement FFB into without scavenging joysticks/wheels. I'm kind of reluctant to write a whole HID driver, since I'd have to read up all the docs. Got the DirectX commands for FFB, from the eagle.ru forum thread, I think it would be insane to write a driver myself. That said it wouldn't look much different on the elelectronics part from what you have (µC board, motor drivers, interface to a stick). The thing with the motors is, that I'm looking for an afordable, non geared DC motor. I found some, but the vendors here are selling those models with expensive external gears. I might abandon this idea and go for a stepper instead for the first try. That said, I think I should read the whole forum-thread you posted on your website, maybe I can scavenge some code and ideas. I see you did your yokes with MSFFB2, I want to avoid using it, or scavenge parts just as the last resort. So, I guess I'll have to sort out the software part first :) electronics is the easiest part.

Hey man, great work! I would like to play around with this Model, it looks super interesting, is it possible to get the fusion file from you?

Hey there, maybe I'm just blind, but is there a way to download your file straight from fusion 360 ?

Hey, great work. The rest of the stuff on your site are also very interesting. I'd like to toy around with this concept, but seemingly I can't download it only check the preview. Before I start to rebuild it from scratch I'd try and ask so maybe you can reupload it once more? Perhaps something on the fusion 360 side changed since then. Anyway thanks for sharing it.

I don't think they are locally stored as F360 is cloud based system. I'll check out if I can get them to my PC.

This is just a motion simulation to find out how such mechanism compensate combined axes movement.
      I wouldn't recomend printing it:)
