- In this video I go through the Geometry Regents January 2024, part 1, questions 1-24. I cover many of the topics from high school geometry such as:
similar triangles, parallel lines and transversals, triangle proofs, partitioning line segments, using trig to find a missing side, using trig to find a missing angle, cross sections, Cavalieri's Principle, alternate interior angles, transformations in the coordinate plane.

I am so lost and feel like I am gonna do so bad on this regents, even though I know that I know enough to pass, I feel like I am just gonna forget it all, what should I do😭
Focus on what you have control over. All you can do from now until the regents is practice - it is very normal to be nervous right now! Try to focus on just practicing then show up on test day and put your best math down on the paper.

I think getting a goods night rest is more important then staying up at midnight doing last second studying
@@Mark-nx5pk nah that’s wrong while getting a good nights sleep may help, if you didn’t study at all then your screwed so staying up at midnight is better if you know nothing. Plus you got 3 hours to take it

Hey just to let you know the graphs we have been given on some of the multiple choice don’t have grid lines it’s hard for us to follow along since we can’t solve some of the problems using the grid lines they are not given to us
I had a question on number five why is the y intercept not +4 as we get when the equation is solved?
We can say that y intercept is positive 4 since the equation is y = mx + b. I might be misunderstanding your question, but when we write a positive number for the y intercept or slope, we do not need to include the plus sign. We only use sign notation for negative numbers. But the y-intercept is +4 or we would say positive 4.
