I honestly feel bad for her since you can see she realized she messed up from her facial expressions. I don't think they should've given her rap, especially in a secondary language and as a trainee nonetheless. Rapping is a cultivated art and being able to do it well at such a young age is unlikely. She does have huge potential though because she dances very well in terms of stability and rhythm. She has a really good sense of pacing with the song and with the group. She's not out-dancing anyone, but she knows how to accentuate some moves better e.g. the little hand-swirl at the chorus. Think Mina and Dahyun from TWICE. They're not going to do the flashiest dance moves, but they're great at fundamentals. Vanesya has a similar style to them.

I honestly worried for vanesya mental health. She's way too young to face all of these comments. I hope she doesn't take it to heart. Vanesya is nice and sweet. No one is hating her but I think most people are being sarcastic and annoyed towards her supporters. To her voters, I believe you guys vote because of country and not because of talent. Take this in. Yona is the best in terms of vocal, leadership and perseverance against foreigners with language barriers. After her, Mila with stable vocals while Jessica is not bad carrying the vocal line. Now imagine Vanesya beating them just because of her countries own pride. It’s setting her to be harshly commented by South Koreans, the many investments the company would made to polish her with vocal training, dance training and the worst is language proficiency. There’s a reason Dita and Zayyan were never showcased before their official debut because there needs to be proper training. The country actually felt the pride but supporting someone with so little to give (right now) will have consequences.
Let's also add the fact that Vanesya is a young girl. If she debute in the final group, this performance and her parts would follow her for the rest of her carrere, or at least until the end of her contract with the compagny. That might be very hurtful for her.

Setidaknya kita harus mengapresiasi anak bangsa yang berani maju walaupun memang kenyataan nya dia masih sangat kurang tapi dia sudah berani maju dan tampil di depan banyak orang asing, bahkan dia sepertinya dia juga sulit untuk berkomunikasi dengan sesama peserta bayangkan dia sendirian disana dan tidak ada yang bisa dia ajak komunikasi, apa tidak frustasi dia. You guys are doing great tho, and i think there are still other songs besides this that have a more cute vibes:) and They should have performed with the same song because this was the first team fight, not the second. SBS really sucks and seems to choose several participants to be their "golden children" One more thing, why is the losing team not shown backstage? I think they deserved more of a backstage moment lol. This isn't global but looking for debut friends for xx program 💀
