Love my ‘23 Road King Special!
😎👍👍
Why doesn't HD put a touring seat on the RK special, it's got that slim down passenger seat, not good for passenger. The Std RK has a much larger passenger seat. I own a 2014 RK std.
I think they use that seat because it looks sleeker. Most people replace it. It’s terrible.
Lets hope not?....I was waiting to see if HD puts the watercooled heads 117 in the RKS for 2025...also want to see if HD puts the aircooled 117 in the Heritage also....
Im completely happy that they didnt mess with the RKS this year! I am a complete "no go" for that TFT digital screen, and frankly would rather have oil cooled heads than the liquid cooled heads. I just put an oil cooler fan on my RKS (2021), and it is happy that way! I think harley wanted to keep one of there touring lines to stay old fashioned with the analog gauge on the tank and headlight with no fairing. Its just marketing, I dont think they are going to get rid of it.
Yes ...I agree. Exactly why your seeing the Icon and Ethusiast Collection. Retro style while adding reliability and the latest safety technology.
For 2024 I think their is only 1,000 dollars difference between a Road King and a Streetor Road Glide. 24,999RK and 25,999RG/SG
I'd love if they came out with a chrome road king special. I refuse to buy a blacked out bike. But on the other hand the Road King Special pricing has gotten way out of hand for what it is and I couldn't justify it
I get what you’re saying, but I love black!!!! There might be a chrome version coming.
Amen! Thats why HD lost alot of sales. If they phase out anymore styles soon they will phase themselves out for good.
It’s sad. The road king is my favorite Harley model. I know I’m never getting rid of mine.
@@mikebigeasyrider same here. The standard is my favorite by a mile. Not really a fan of the special. I’m more a fan of the classic look.
Why is Harley Davidson downplaying the Road King? There is so much
you can do with the Road King while maintaining its raw qualities by offering a high torque performance package providing low, mid, and superior top end results as an example.
The Harley Davidson Road King is one of the most elegant, stylish and archetypical Harley Davidson motorcycles ever produced and forever etched in HD's rich history of motorcycle designs. The Road King is the personification of a Harley Davidson icon. Road King stands supreme and has no equal. Those select riders who own one are indeed privileged.
I own a 2003 Road King Classic, 100-Year Anniversary Edition, with the Screaming Eagle engine upgrade from an 88 V-Twin to a 95. The fast producing torque and sound is exhilarating. I know there are much faster Road Kings than mine but for my purposes I could not be happier with mine.
My Road King with its original anniversary Two-Tone Sterling Silver and Vivid Black paint colors stands out. The commemorative medallions seen throughout this ride's sculpted design adds to its nostalgia, mystique, and exclusivity.
I love the anniversary colors!!!! That bike is beautiful. I think the reason they are down playing it is due to sales. I just don't think it's selling like it use to. Right now everyone wants a fairing. This fad will pass, and then the King will reign again. Thank you for watching. I really appreciate it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a mid model year release or an update for 2025. Road King ST would be welcome.
That would be great!!! I'd love to see that. Thank you for watching. I really appreciate it!
Thanks for the shout out Bob. I was wanting a Heritage Classic and after the last demo days Betty said Road Kings. Her comment was just like you said they look “ bad ass”. 😂 We love them. Long live the King.
Just recently picked up a 2021 R K standard Crimson Red and Stone Washed White low miles 3k priced to sell. It's an overall great looking and riding motorcycle that gets plenty of compliments from younger and older people, hate to think it however I believe your correct as it being phased out. Thanks for sharing.
That sounds beautiful. What a great color combination. Thank you for watching. I really appreciate it.
The 2024 touring bikes with no gauges and just a big screen are a no for me. Road King ST with the FXR fairing and a 117 would be awesome.
I am so hoping for performance RK with ne bags etc. would be great video 👍
@@BobsGarage1 work is crazy but I still work on upgrades and garage so something might pop out one of these days.
Deal breaker here for the Road King. I refuse to have the dashboard on the gas tank because you’re losing sight of the road in front of you.
I rarely look at that anyway, and it isn't as bad as you think. Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it.
We like the retro, iconic styling while incorporating some new riding technology. The Road King is not a digital dash bike.
every thing goes full circle it uesed to be dressers& sportsters HAPPY TRAILS
Yet another company-killing decision made by Puma Jochen and his band of non-riding sneaker-suits. FCVO, FVVT, F Jochen, FHD
i think nobody buys the roadking anymore my dealer got 3 of them been there since last summer they are still there they are 2023 and the price is mark down to street glide and road glide sell
That’s interesting. What color are they? The colors last year were terrible. Thank you for watching!
My wife and I just bought two. Billiard Blue and Vivid Black. Iconic model We wanted a touring chassis and bigger tank and we don’t do the long distance riding to support a Street Glide or Road Glide.
Two great colors. That bike looks great in those colors. I’m not a fan of the yellow that they used last year.
It will be interesting to see what happens. I'm considering getting a police road king to add to the fleet. The Road King is a great bike...but we shall see if HD keeps it in the line up. My guess is they will keep the police model in the line up...but...maybe not.
You can probably get a great deal on a police bike. Thanks for your support Rick.
