We built two PONDS | They changed our garden forever

Over the years we have enjoyed building and managing our two garden ponds for wildlife. We started by introducing a small pond to our gravel garden near the house. It was so successful that we dug a much bigger pond on the gentle hill below our compost toilet shed and then we watched, intrigued, as the wildlife poured in!
Our organic garden is on a steep hillside in the Upper Severn Valley near Llanidloes in Mid Wales in the UK where we enjoy a temperate climate.
We would like to thank Mick Brown and John Waters for their help in building our big pond.

My very small pond has a very large Leopard Frog and a garter snake already this year ... in addition to the chipmunks and birds
