    If it wasn't for the English, Asante would have ruled , most of west africa. The system the old kings setup is just like Rome. It was only cut short because of better guns by the English

    I'm surprised a lot of people don't know this common History we learn this at the elementary level

      It's like song even if you've heard it, it may mean something else to you the next time, timing is everything meaning the current situation in Ghana may be just right for Ghanaians to hear how some parts of their history unfolded. My curiosity is we know little of our history before the white man came and hope they will speak on that because our untouched self is our true history not the tainted by foreigners like the Arabs then later the whites.

      @@aduanetwum1941 yeah, especially how life was during the 1500's and so on... at least some of us saw the 1900's
