Without a doubt, Travis does not like interviews, in terms of selling the project himself, he is almost the opposite of a normal actor. But when it comes to working as an actor, god, I never saw one like it! undoubtedly one of the best actors that the industry can offer you. Al hail king TRAVIS!
Always rooting for Abu, got a lot of heart for how hard Father tries and comes through!

He's always like that in interviews. All of them.
Doesn't interview well but so what? He's an AMAZING actor. Balancing a slightly psychotic 'James Dean', evoking an unpredictable fear. You always wonder where he's going to take the character. Very Solid! He's got star power.
I really love how he passes the buck to Niamh to answer the question that he doesn't want to. Lol
Notice that there are tons of videos with interviews with the cast from this day. If Travis Fimmel looks less than supermotivated it's probably because he and the rest of the cast have been answering questions like "What's it like to work with a legend like Ridley Scott?" for hours on end.
Abubakar (father) was such a friend to Travis Fimmel in this interview.

Father's such a boss. How he can have such dignity whilst being objectively beta is so well done.
I am glad someone else is noticing this. I have thinking alot about whether Father is intentionally programmed as a Beta male, since in Evolutionary Psychology it is argued that Beta males are well suited for long-term family relationships. But it's also interesting how Father can suddenly switch to a strong Alpha, whenever the family gets endangered by outer factors like the creatures or the believers.
I'm not so sure there is such a thing as alpha and beta when it comes to parenting. Father was a good father, he modelled good behaviour, he put the kids to task, he wanted to prepare them for independence.
Alpha/beta system is scientifically proven false since forever, its crazy how its still plagues mens mind

Love this show already missing it.
I was sceptical if people would react to the show kindly because it goes a bit slow at times and like all tv shows, it's only the starting and finishing episodes when most of the thrilling drama takes place. But turns out it has got mostly positive reviews and I'm glad. I loved the show for how beautiful and realistic it looks. It almost feels like it is actually happening somewhere right now on a distant planet.
i don''t know about you, i felt like this is just like a normal family drama especially for the Android family...where the family go through birth, growth ,death, deceit, jealousy and cheating....but in a sci-fi premise. it felt that it was cool and really refreshing...as for the religious aspect....i felt that Aaron is having a good time stirring the pot on the importance of religion to humankind...which i fell again...it's really refreshing...

Loved this show. Incredible performances by Amanda Collin and Abubaker Salim. Can't wait for season 2.

It was the most startling performance that I have seen in years. It was fantastic physically as well. She seemed so other-worldly that it helped set up the believability in the whole series and sci-fi scenario.
Well good to know that Ragnar never died , but went to space instead.

I love the Ark scene too. The way all hell suddenly breaks loose. Her scream as a metaphor is so perfect. We all learn with champion that we would never be safe. That our sweet, sweet! Mother is dangerous lol.
I also loved Mother's joy and happiness at bringing champion some new brothers and sisters. Mother's so precious..🙂
And you're right. Blood is very slippery. Especially human blood, with all the fat in it..😁

I wish we could have seen more of the reactions every time father made a joke.
I describe this show as Alien x Kingdom of Heaven. Some phenomenal work by Ridley Scott and this writer(sorry I don't know his name). Has himself one HELL of a story. This cast is absolutley KILLING it. I cannot wait to see how the world fills out and the story progresses. This show is getting a decent amt of praise, but I feel like it deserves much more.

I will never forgive HBOMAX's cancellation of the unique series RAISED BY WOLVES created by Aaron Guzikowski and produced by Ridley Scott. Lamia interpreted by Amanda Collin father I will miss the children.

One of the things that I find most strangely disturbing in RbW is Mother's lack of (cough, ahem!)... nipples! I once worked with a guy who, for medical reasons, had no eyebrows & it generated the same odd feeling of 'there's something wrong with this picture but I'm not altogether sure what it is?'.
Great show by the way. Can't wait for Season 2 to start here in the UK.

Absolutely LOVE Abubakar as Farther ... my fav character!! ... Sue is close second and of course Mother. I love these women and these actors ... brilliant!
Sadly I find Travis uninteresting and almost dismissive to a degree, really kind of kills the energy and doesn't seem to have any interest in talking about the work, he maybe just shy? ... I just wish he would show some love and passion for what he does ... it's ok to have pride in your work ... take some time to actually answer the question instead of repeating everything he has said in every interview about this show.
Big and HUGE shout out to Cosmo Jarvis .. fantastic actor and brilliant man ... who is also very shy in interviews.

Basic break down of the show over 2 season....
The show is about perspective and about placing yourself into varies people/entity perspective to understand their individual end goals.
Mother and father are repeating a cycle that happens over and over. First it was humans to earth from k22 , now it's humans from earth back to k22.
The entity isn't bad/good, it represents the planetary conciouness. The entity/ the planet k22 wants a diverse biome living on its surface, it then has something to occupy its time. Much like how G.M. doesn't want to occupy her time with humans.
The cards are directions and warnings, the cards show how to re terraform k22 with advance tech so diverse life can spread, k22 the entity wants conciousness humans and to support that requires animals and plant life.
The snake represents wildlife animals, they are part of the world and they can't be controlled. The snake would of started to terraf9rm the planet with aminal life as well as help spread plant life thru eating and popping out seeds like birds do.
Now when other think of the entity, they are applying their lens/their views onto something else. The entity isn't good nor bad, it wants conciousnes life but humans never advance spiritually and thus the technology overtakes them. The entity can't see nor communicate with a.i. lifeforms since they do not have connection to the greater universe as humans aminal/plants and the entity have.
Grandmother doesn't understand the entity and only see that humans get technology and destroy themselves. Thus just as g.m. is golden i.e. her prime coding is the golden rule do onto others as well wish on yourself. G.m. de evolves the humans which allows her to literally enter ignorant bliss just like the humans, she literally becomes unconscious due to fulfilling her program and she fades to dust. The fact she was wearing a Veil means that was the only way to stop her or that was the only way she could do what she wanted done. It's clear that the vale subvert the programing as mother kills 7 when it was agianst her programing , it wasn't a emotional or logical decision, it was not supposed to happen and the valed allowed I
