Very beautifully rendered. So many magnificent pieces still to be sung and never enough time. Thank you for this upload, moltoallegro.

St Phillip Neri often entertained his guests with the music of Palestrina and his choir...they were close friends.

Let me shed another light on the business aspect of the copyright discussion: Publicity sells CD's. The exposure a recording gets when its is posted on YT is actually good for business. Ask Valentina Lisitsa.

If you are the COPYRIGHT OWNER of any of the content in this video, may I, please, ask that you first contact me, requesting that I delete the
video - without filling a complaint to the UA-cam administration - and I WILL DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY.
My only wish is to make classical music more available to people not to exploit copyrighted material.

And stop being rude! You know nothing of me, I'm just trying to explain the basic concept of copyrights.

I'm sorry I just have to ask: What group is singing? I think this is perhaps better than Pro Cantione Antiqua. I would like go buy a CD! (good job moltoallegro19 selling a recording - just tell me who it is)
    Thanks

They don't have the rights to the composition, but to their recorded interpretation of it, see? I don't believe you're a musician, if you are I would not have to explain this to you.

I'm also a classical musician, and the thing is: would you not claim copyright on recordings there'd be no classical music industry! You're just stupid, that would not work! Inthat case you couldn't charge for ticets to concerts either. It has nothing to do with the very oldcompositions. If Heifetz made a great, original recording of a violin sonata he is free too sell that interpretation on a CD, but it is HIS interpretation. You don't know what you're talking about.
