I really liked this commentary, it made me feel engaged in the game, sorta like a story
Never had a problem with this map, Verdun heights on release was the real impossible.
GreensightGamer if you have a decent squad (with mics) u could smoke it and enter
GreensightGamer man verdun heights was really hell on earth Fort de voux is way harder then verdun
Verdun now is balanced won it several times with only 1 battlion and fort vaux just need to break in from one flank and you take objective
wasseem20 that shit hard tho when the French just camp that shit out and throw grenades and shit they have every hallway and entrance blocked
The reason why this map is difficult to attack on is because the real raids on Gallipoli in WW1 at Cape helles was a complete disaster for the allies the ottomans had high ground and dominated the allies forcing them to eventually evacuate
Ottomans: it's over ANZAC troops! I have the high ground!
Winston Churchill: You underestimate my power!
Ottomans: Don't try it.
@@TheHiddenStudios churchill begged them not to send the troops to galipoli because he had experience and knew it would be a huge disaster
Has it ever occurred to anyone that the reason why some of the maps and modes in BF1 are unbalanced, is for historical accuracy? This video supports that; during Gallipoli, the ANZACs suffered very high losses as they attempted to invade the Ottoman Empire.
The reason why it's almost impossible to win as a certain side in a certain mode or map, is to show how it played out in really life.
Allan Donohue Nope. Devs haven’t done a good balancing, that’s all there is to it.
I'd rather prefer unbalanced gameplay though, especially if it is a historical setting like Gallipoli
Except the Germans won Devil's Anvil (at least the operation we are doing) and the Russian won the Brusilov Offensive.
So it should be harder for the defenders to win at least on the first map, but it isn't most operations don't make it to the 2nd map.
Watching this right now because I’m sick, tired, and board of BFV. Need to return to this game and BF4. Thanks jack for the nostalgia
It takes teamwork to win? That explains why I can't get any wins on console.
I first tried the game on console and kicked. Then I got it on pc and I got my ass kicked😂
I don't even own BF1 but watching you play kinda makes me want to try it out.
Def worth it. Plus the season pass is heavily discounted now. The game is the best fps war game to date.
Buy it, i got to like level 30 in a week because its so good. no complaints 👍
Being a Gaming content creators is basically being hero class... your presence there changes the atmosphere of games
Looks like you had some good Eggs in your team Jack. Teamwork makes the DreamWork.
awesome that you put this vid up,despite the audio probs, this is actually a good learning vid for all us noobs, because here you are describing the situations, thubs up Jack , keep up the good work
Always a joy to see you play this game. Keep 'em coming, Jack^^
Really enjoyed this gameplay walk through type video. Gives a good insight into what goes though your mind whilst your making decisions in the game, as well as tactics used. 10/10 👍🏼👌🏼
Best commentator! Really makes you feel engaged and get you hyped to play! Well done! You sir earned a sub :D
Nice change of pace and perspective with the post-capture narration. Would enjoy seeing it in future videos.
I love operation best game mode :D
Only if they had a operations mode were you could only use rifles that are from your teams nation
Edit:and shotguns
Loved this video and actually was great to hear your thinking and why you positioned yourself in certain places and certain ways
Fricken grand to have you playing some BF1 again!! big time like it when you explain what your tactics and thoughts are as your playing. have been spectating good players in matches to see what they do to get better.. I havnt found many tactics and stuff online so super nice to learn from my fav cheery YTuber!! Cheeers man!!
i think this after action commentary is a lot better, the value of the comments and the insight into the decision making process behind the moves and tactics is a lot more meaningful and entertaining.
Team work always! Since I learned that from u my BF gaming really improved. Nice video Jack.
High quality content, thanks as usual jack, problems never stop you from entertaining us in the best way :)
Love the videos where you explain your game play.
One of the best videos ive watched.jack u should do more videos like this teamwork, squad leading ecttt.its more fun and interesting
Love u Jack hope your health is good
I love the tactical commentary. Talking about anticipating the enemy team and their tactics and stuff
I really enjoyed this style of commentary video, would like to see more in the future Jack
you are my hero...really! you are a master of impossible missions. no one ever before has ever managed this map.
Great to watch mate not a very good player myself so it’s nice to see how it’s played properly ✌️
Yesss! Jack actually your commenting was so good, i really like this video now. At the start i was like "oh i wanted to hear the ts" but you really did a good job on talking! Keep up the good work! :D
Really enjoyed this video jack
Damn this was very entertaining, Great commentary and Great video Jack!
I like this type of breakdown of the video. Providing some your strategy.
I actually like it that the commentary was made after the video because now I know more of your strategies and what's going through your head
That was a great walk through. Very engaging and informative!
I have learned that overusing your smoke grenades to capture objectives really pays off. Especially in open areas like this map has. Convincing your team to work together and all use smokes is the hardest part.
Jack has made history, well done ;)
Jack frags great video I really liked it I am a new subscriber keep your content up and your great at battlefield hope you make really good videos in the future
Great job to you and your team on this one mate!
nothing is impossible when you r the memelord
gaming gang
"My aim is still a bit off" jackfrags
-casually goes 18 in 2
just bought this game 3 weeks ago at a discount, so much chaos loving it.
I like this type of commentary more, because it's not just you playing and talking, but you explain your decisions bit more. And I certainly like the more commander style gamplay, you telling your team what to do. I as a viewer feel more engaged and I would like to see more videos like this and wish to take part in one :D
But I know that it possibly takes you more time and effort to do but it's worth the effort I think
I like when you use team speak and rally your guys. It's good to see your strategies in action.
Really enjoyed this type of commentary
The different perspective of not having live commentary is actually a good thing! Nice one
Great Video!
It can be done. I think DICE's goal with this particular map was to emphasize to all of us the importance of playing your role and teamwork. This can be a difficult battle yes. But as you mentioned, with teamwork it can be done.
Good things happen when players play their roles and play the objective.
I like this way you narrate your matches. Thumbs up. You can do this more often if you want to
Damn, that was some fancy shooting there jack
I really liked the commentary, it was sort of like you were explaining what you were doing. Giving us tips! I think this would be a good thing to do for some episodes
Wow...just wow..This is probably one of the most greatest modes on any war shooter game ever..it plays like war,it feels like war..not those Cod bullshit where you spawn where ever you want..tactics are actually really important for this mode, teamwork aswell.Awesome work Dice!
I like video commentary because it's like Jack watch the video at the same time we watch it.
I have won multiple times and the best tactics for attacking is first for you team to have alot of medics to keep the pressure and smoke grenades to cover your advance. With these tactics are attacking team won without losing a single battalion.
Carlos Clinche Plus, you need the Destroyer to help with the Artillery strike and the cannons.
We did it without the help of the destroyer most of the time but reviving by medics and smoke screens to cover advances are almost essential.
Carlos Clinche History said the same thing about the Battle of Soissons.Respect the Destroyer crew, mate. They smashed a good amount of people at the first sector in this video.
Love the strat video and commentary. You should do one for Achi Baba
Good commentary Jack!
This is a well done tactical training video Jack even though you had originally intended it to be a live commentary. You should create more in this style...it'd be great! Well done! By the way, I often peek & run above the trenches; it works well in my opinion.
This videos are actually educating af
Anyone felt like Galicia operation(brusilov offensive)is among one of the hardest to win as attackers
Feel like there wasn’t enough cover
Got over 100 kills with attack plane in some trench(2 H machine guns)and still lost
Listening to this makes me think jack would be the perfect bf1 comp. announcer
If you get people utilizing the attack boats to cover the beach charge at the start it makes pushing a lot easier. A few of the boats have the same gun as the bomber on the front of them and it can do some serious work if you can keep it alive.
Farquhar Hill is my new favorite gun... so awesome!
That was EPIC!
love this map though
man bf1 is an amazing game actually
Jack you need to revive more mate. Everyone is reviving you. Return the favour :)
Adam Robertson Bs, he revives pretty Much people, there are enough players Who revive less! :0
Adam Robertson I've always hated when people don't say thanks after you revive them. Annoys me.
Wow that’s pretty similar to d-day ... but ww1 style
Hopefully with a world war 2 battlefield we'll get a d-day operation
Could it be because it was? Battle of the Gallipoli was pretty much the D-Day of WW1, only it failed in the end though.
Swagger Lemon that's basically what gallipoli was only the allies (then called the entente) lost and they weren't invading a friendly occupied nation.
Makes me want to play more!
Why i love ur video so much
Jack I have to say that I love your enthusiasm! Whenever you use a gun that I personally think is crap (like in this vid) you're always saying something like ''this gun is quite good''.
I understand why you'd voice your negative opinions about the game, but I really enjoy the way you do it. Also because you don't do it that often!
Nice one! I've only won as attackers on this once. You really have to capture the first sector very quickly otherwise your reinforcements are going to bleed away very quickly.
Great Video !
Great gamesense there, I wish more players had this mindset while attacking. I end up on so many teams that have no idea the strategy involved with which flag to for for 1st and why, and on console we don't get the chatbox in the corner to let our whole team know.
I actually like this style of video a lot.
I actually enjoyed this voiceover more then the live!
Can you do more commentaries like this? I like love the video!
I love this map I’ve had some very intense matches on it!
Operations just makes you feel like a BADASS defending multi waves of enemies or absolutely steamrolling your opponents in Attacking. In my preference in attacking if I am not useing the Martini Henry I'm useing my Support class with Smokes helping the whole team push and restocking it. And useing the crossbow Nadeing positions if I have to.
Solid video. :D
I really like hearing your commentary after the fact
Respect for using the trench variant, the sweeper is the 2nd most noobish gun in the game, right behind the hellriegel
i like that you say thumbs down if you dont like also, no other youtube channel says this. even tho i always enjoy your content this makes me feel that you exactly care if i enjoy it or not
This lad has to be one of the most relaxed bf1 player I now know.
I live the video jack
It's only impossible if your team doesnt aim at the enemies you spot.
Good display of battlefield flow knowledge. That's one of those operations I just don't play because I honestly consider it nigh impossible. Then again, on the PlayStation servers a lot of people are new to the game right now after Christmas. So sometimes you'll just get really stacked trans.
That "God save the queen" at the end though😂😂😂
"Its not all about your squad"...fuck yes jack!
Fuck, that was exciting. I'd love to see more BF1, Jack.
That second dude though, 49 to 1 jesus holy shit...
Probably a sniper. Being on the spawn boat is a good position. If he wasn't up their then he is just a legend at the game.
Even still though, i dont play bf1 so i dont know how well the sniping is going but from my experience im anchoring down the score board when i go with a sniper.
Corrected. He piloted assault plane (anti-infantry) and farmed easy kills on flags. Then he went support with BAR.
I don't Play BF 1 but these are fun to watch.
Nobody:
Jack: good this weapon.
Like a boss!
Analyzing your gameplay here I must say your decisions on the Battlefield have been very succesful
U should do around the battlefield but like the entire operation cuz it is quite different then normal game mode
In a recent video you mention how you don't change your specialisations, but it really is worth it on the medic class, having concealed rescue and stimulant syringe.
Awesome
Even though the voice over is a byproduct of a software glitch, I’m actually a big fan of the strategy narration
M1907 SL Trench - my favourite gun from beta
interesting to see Jack use the med crate instead of the med bag. little bag, big bag problems.
Attacking on this map made me understand what true hopelessness feels like
The worst feeling ever:
You know you're having an awful game but you're at the top of the board.
@Kasey Widney nobody gives a shit
@Kasey Widney go fuck yourself
