The return on investment for boxes has gotten so bad. I dont get how they think the boxes should cost even more. Legitimately priced me out. Its been fun for a minute.
You can really tell how many bowman Megas were produced this year. Went from being a target exclusive to a hobby shops getting some. Now it’s literally everywhere. Hobby shops. Online. Target. Walmart. Walgreens. Hardware stores etc. EVERYWHERE. smh. Its a shame. I used to love ripping tons of mega boxes. So watered down now. Now it’s 1 in 10 boxes for an auto. Numbered cards aren’t that easy to pull either
While I agree with you, the harder it is to pull an auto or numbered card just means it will command a higher value. Just trying to think optimisticly.
I think because of all the BS with people buying everything as soon as they stocked, there were so many complaints that my local Walmart started reducing their stock. Now they only have a single shelf on an end cap with the cards no one wants anyway and the same boxes have been there for weeks. Even the not-so-local Target is barely carrying sports cards anymore
lol, I should of taken a picture of the Sports Cards aisle at my local Walmart & Target in MA, you would laugh your ass off. It’s awful. Definitely less than 12 different items combined between both stores including hangars
I have never seen a Walmart with this amount of not only shelf space but inventory of sports cards. My Walmart’s sports cards are behind the register and it’s 3 shelves.
I think Jabs is a silent partner on that Walmart and makes sure it’s fully stocked. Never, ever seen any Walmart that stocked so consistently lol. Rough luck on the boxes, definitely got skunked for that price.
If you have family or friend that works at a place they have retail. Ask them if they ever see a box I think it’s MJS Holding, that’s who supplies their cards at the store. Use to pay a someone 20 to tell me when they came in and stocked.
@@michaelmurphy2612 I wish a had an inside guy. Management hasn’t been helpful. Unfortunately the one closest to me is always bone dry. I think MJ lost the account too so who knows what the future holds. Most likely will get better. More consistent
I enjoy the content but also… you’re one of those that ruin it for others by getting tips for when they restock then buying it all up to make money with breaks and UA-cam.. then the rest of us who just want to collect have nothing to buy off the shelves… thanks
When I do blaster cases, I buy actual cases. I never buy all of the product. In fact, the Bowman megas and blaster from this video were from my PERSONAL cases, which let me sell over $400 worth of cards to Brian for $350 plus fees. Also, the shelves at my Walmart are constantly overflowing and no one really buys baseball out here.
Picked up three Target Bowman Platinum blasters yesterday. Played the odds and nope no autos. Best card was a Gold #/50 Trea Turner but I did hit all of the main rookies including some refractor rookies.
Get out of the property with the lousy foundation and get those Banks and Aaron's rookies! Also could it be time to open up Sofia's restaurant?? And good luck on your home repairs. And with EJ....good discipline as hard as it is to do.

yup. i never thought i’d say it, but i miss opening day. cheap cards for a cheap price.
Platinum Ann numbered cards don’t have a thicker hit stock. Topps is getting real cheap

And they’re $50 instead of $20 complete rip off
@@packtothefuture188megas have never been $20 in the history of existence guy
Yep they completely watered down that product. There's also zero reason they are 45-50 bucks they should be 25 or 30 at most.

Will all that considered, and no "first" Auto's in Mega's is hard stop. 23TCP way better value and it's not close.
I went out to Walmart and took a shot on a Platinum Anniversary blaster, pulled a Jose Canseco On Card Auto /150. Love these boxes!

Our Walmart has nothing at all. Either they stopped stocking or people are buying everything as soon as it hits the shelf.
These 2023 Platinums are shockingly good. Great Saturday showdown with them
I went to our Walmart today. Not a single pack of baseball cards anywhere... Lots of other sports, pokemon and such, no zero baseball cards.
I feel Bowman Blasters cooled down. They front loaded the first shipments. Now there’s barely any autos.
I wonder why Heritage Mega boxes are $55 and Bowman is $50.
Nothing at West Mifflin Retail places.
Target has the Mega's for $45 and Chrome Platinum for $30!!
They don't lock up the febreze plug ind at ur Walmart?

What is the best baseball rc chase right now?
Bowman right now but when series 2 comes out next week there will be a good crop of rookies in it

Definitely wonder about that. Every Walmart in MA is always wiped out and randomly gets stocked every other week with minimal product

Same here. I want that Walmart
My Walmart is similar
2023 Platinum is legit. Not a giant print run either. Keep it that way, Fanatics... Please!
Jabs would you ever do or have you ever done a quarterly patreon?
Ebay is cheaper to buy retail boxes than my local walmart
Let’s go Bucs man. Getting some grey hairs this year, Shelty ain’t it, but we’re oddly still in this thing

But he doesn't buy them all?
But he's not buying them all. He's never bought everything off the shelf unless it was the last one

Jabs has been all class from day one !!!!
I went to the local Walmart to see what they had. Nothing but some golf stuff and magic cards
All that unnecessary packaging is getting costly!

Where are you located. Cus Walmart here ain't never have anything

Are you planning on going to see the Dodgers this week? I think it's the first time Shohei has come here.
I hope so
At 11:14, you skipped a card, it was a rainbow card.
Imagine Jabs doing pull tabs.
$50 for the mega box HAHAHAHA I’ll take a couple bowman blasters and have a better time
Love that mike boeve autograph
And it only cost $400
Wow that was horrible.
Retail strikes again :)
For all the money spent on these packs you could’ve probably bought some guaranteed profitable cards. I guess you sacrifice a bit for these videos.
You Missed red ink auto in the first platinum box.
Wow, you're right. Third card in on the first box. That has got to be rare.
