I find these short videos very helpful - thank you. Could you do one showing the set up of the lay of the blade and adjusting using the wedge or washers, and the hafting angle? Thank you!
@@SomersetScytheSchool Im not too sure either 😆 its a slight curve im assuming. I think a non mathimatical way would be. 🤣 I think you measure the angle from the point the wood is still straight to the curved portion keeping the measurement flat you can probly guess from there, perhaps a protractor or something. I dont think its super acurate as the people who make the snaths probly have a jig to bend the wood to a specific angle so getting a rough idea would probly be enough to guess an exact angle. I was just curious because the snath Im getting was recommend to me to have a slight curve because im short🤣 so I remebered I saw your's and was curious. Thank you for reading im no mathematician but I live with a Carpenter so I hear things here and there🤣
@@EdenWithoutBreathah, I see, I thought you were talking about the blade. All I know about the geometry of this snath is that it was specifically designed to be used with these Shroeckenfux blades.

@@mulacs thank you for watching and commenting. I’ll see what I can do.
Excellent reminders!
Thanks for watching and commenting
I was curious Is that curve on your scythe 10°
To be honest I have no idea. How would you even measure that?
