@@Sol-f4Life What you are hearing is an E-MU E6400 sampler, sequenced by an Atari with Cubase, mixed through a Mackie 8-buss. No PC or softsynths in those days. I don't mean to imply that you can't achieve the sound otherwise, but that is the basic, classic setup.

rolland tr 808, 909. Drum machines most of the time. you can use a software to control ( midi ) the machine.
