    Hi Lucas. Where do you buy your seedling 🌱 trys? They look big and deep cells compare to the traditional trys. Thank for all info and tips you give us.👍🍅🌶👩‍🌾🌶🍅

    Your videos are so relaxing and entertaining at the same time! I won’t be able to grow anything this year so I’m calming my planting craving by watching other people grow plants 😄

    Pepper seeds don't need to be put in the freezer to sprout. In fact you can take a fresh ripe pepper and plant the seeds and they will sprout just fine

    I never use heat mats, I just start a bit earlier to compensate 😂 If I start them late, I just push them up beside one of our portable radiator heaters during a cold snap! During the early days, I was on a very strict budget; so I didn't invest in heat mats. I don't regret learning my way around them though ☺️ Peppers are so important for us, we eat through them like crazy! Great video!

    I kind of missed the transplanting part, it went by so quick. Are you replanting an entire little cell, or only the seedling (and root)?

    • @lucasgrowsbestyt
      @lucasgrowsbestyt  2 роки тому

      I transplant just the seedling into the cells :) You can see exactly how I do it in this video: ua-cam.com/video/XM34JgcymM4/v-deo.html

    No lights until germinated. Cover and heat mat is good.

    • @lucasgrowsbestyt
      @lucasgrowsbestyt  9 місяців тому +1

      Light does not cause legginess, it is a lack of light that does. Also keeping the heat mat in place after germination is a factor.

    • @chadvollrath1760
      @chadvollrath1760 9 місяців тому

      So you leave the mat and light on throughout?

    • @lucasgrowsbestyt
      @lucasgrowsbestyt  3 роки тому +1

      I saved them from last year's crop, but originally I got these from Baker Creek and Johnny's. Not affiliated with these companies as of posting. There are many great sources of seeds online, just make sure the company looks legit.

    They are too leggy because of the light immediately on before germinating.
