I liked that the ML was immediately all about the FL. He was protective and caring, and had a surprising ruthlessness. On the surface he was a smooth businessman, but mess with anything important to him and he’d make you regret it. (Either lawfully or….😯) They were very cute together from the beginning. Holding hands, arms around each other, hugging and such. And while she was a bit timid to start, she was so starved for affection that she didn’t shy away from the contact. And in fact, it quickly became her throwing herself into his arms or holding onto him. I also liked that she wasn’t a victim. With his support and that of the loving family she found, she developed a quiet confidence. We got to see her rising from her original circumstances, instead of weighed down by her abusers, which was very satisfying! 😁
Nice seeing her not being green tea. This is the second drama I’ve watched where she is the lead. The other drama, she and her sister were reborn and swapped husbands (it was a good short, modern drama)

A different n interesting drama leads found each other n ml protect n cares for fl also has some family backing after she was thrown out by her so called father n sis, when u think there would be a trope ,its all cleared right away and its nice for a change❤ i love all the support fl gets from d males she dont even know much and they are all good looking !😍 i keep waiting for something to go wrong between leads 2hr in as they are too sweet couple ,drama didn't need to be so long ,fl sis has a pretty look and can be in other roles ,it would have been good if the villains were really evil that would make revenge sweet but they are just average jealous ppl.

Each event took a long time; not like trash talk stuff which wasn't a problem, but just a little too long per scene. I fell like the scenes could have gone a smidge faster speed wise, and some shorter scene wise. I am glad to see FL getting nicer parts. I had only seen her as the nasty SFL until one day I saw her in a costume drama as the evil, crazy--and crazy good at the end--actress. Her acting moved me to compassion and tears for her horrible, pitiable character. Sorry I can't recall the name or I'd refer you but I am almost certain it was with Bai Fang Wen and that show's FL was a doctor that fell back in time, and this actress was playing the wife of a less-favoured prince. ML didn't do it for me at all, though I think he might have if he'd moved faster. Really this felt sort of turtle-like. Maybe in the scenes when she was still getting bolder, getting to care for herself and trust she was loveable this speed was appropriate, but then it should have picked up pace and gotten brighter and more energetic. He was kind of mooshy for what was supposed to be an icy CEO.
