Drive from La Fortuna to Monteverde is 3.5 hours and the drive from Monteverde to Tamarindo is 3.5 hours, Tamarindo to Manuel Antonio is 5.5 hours. Those drives can take longer because of roads and traffic. CR has 12 hour days, with sunrise at 5:30 am, sunset at 5:30 pm, and driving is not recommended after dark.

With Costa Rica, you seem to have to jump and leap everywhere to REALLY see it all. I want to stay 7 days in one town that has the resort, the waterfalls, rainforest, the zip lining, and white water rafting, but i also want the buzz of San Jose night life. Is this possible, am i asking too much?
