Censoring a song that's against censorship is like your drug dealer paying for you to go to rehab

Lmao
😂😂😂
ua-cam.com/video/8LtSjH-hEuE/v-deo.html Dirty version .
we have turned full circle
2000: "I'm just playing, ladies, you know I love you"
2002: "I'm just playing, America, you know, I love you"
2018: "I'm just playing, Diddy, you know I love you"
Stefano Zhou just thinking about that
If Eminem says that at the end of his song, you know he hates you and you're screwed 😂😂
And his kick off freestyle he says "I'm just playing ladies, you know I love you".
Nice catch
So much better (2013), and twice in 2018

ME OFC IM LOVE EM FOREVER
I love Eminem because he's really keeps it real. He's not a fake person. He's real. I have nothing but love and respect for him.
Authenticity matters. America proved that last week after it was a very open question .
Deadass. I think that's why he got so popular. Like people can relate. He keeps it real. While a lot of these other rappers just rap about some bullshit that people forget about, Eminem is timeless because he speaks about his life and doesn't care what people think. Mf straight talked about beating his wife like that's fucked up but I respect the honesty frfr

I'm one of the 4 people who made this video. I made all the artwork from a mix of photography I shot around Vancouver Canada, painting on my first wacom tablet in photoshop. Mashing it up together in this surreal grotesque vision of suburbia and city life. All the people, everything, was Photoshop mash ups of our faces. I remember how hard it was, as we animated everything in flash at the time. Which no one had ever done before. We had a near zero budget, because no one wanted to make a music video for this track. That's why it's so stiff and super hard to watch now. There was so much that we made that was cut even then, because it was too graphic and sensitive. I remember when we made the choice " so should we animate our selves pissing on the white house lawn? is that too much? and our producers loved it. Fucking crazy!
I'm glad that even now, people are coming back to this and commenting on it.
Sorry for all those I scared with my artwork. When i made this i was trying to show how we were all so fucked up, ugly, confused, and biting onto Eminem's message.
For those that remember, it was a dark time, and all we could do was mirror it.

I came to this video, but I gotta find uncensored video. Those scratches ruins this song. Eminem had some attitude once! Till they made him silent, and ever since he's been rapping about - different things. I don't say bullshit things because I respect him deeply. + 13 years together with your music, Illuminati you got at least one hooked up, revolting hc listener, who is tired with this global misery - or golden cage - what you are serving for us as a 'freedom'. You know it's a sad joke.
We're raping and sucking this planet dry, killing the real love, embracing 'wealth', money making culture, materialism, unhealthy sexualization & pornography, violence, distracting media, fame, luxury, noise, attention, selfisness and many more bad things - while those 1%'ers make all the profit, laughing at us.
I'm not gonna play along, you greedy mofos think we're your slaves? Guess again, and see the future. People will wake up. Though I'm not providing any moneyz for ya. :3 Oh, I bought SHADYXV from iTunes. That was bullshit money makin' album and you know that.
I've been a fan of Eminem since I was 13 I'm 40 now his music has always been 🔥🔥🔥
This is one of Eminems greatest masterpieces, Seriously underrated.
Its not underrated. This song is first on Eminem's most successful album.
I believe theme is about white America's oppression of minorities due to their "issues" when white America's own issues are just as bad if not worse. School shootings, opioid epidemic, veiled prejudice, etc. still a huge problem a decade plus later.

Eminem as Ruler of D12 is paying tribute Eric Harris the Columbine shooter which is scary. Eric didn't like hip hop he wasn't a fan of rap if he were alive when this song dropped he wouldn't become a Eminem fan same for Dylan Klebold although this has nothing to do with Dylan I'm only saying this because it's the truth Eminem stood by the 1999 Columbine shooting.

This is my fave Em song - it’s an incredible indictment of the early 2000s but also incredibly self aware of WHY he’s so successful: his whiteness makes him both successful and a threat (bringing “scary” black culture to the suburbs via white skin). It’s fkn insane.
censored song about censorship that has an explicit label in the beginning? like paying a prostitute for an hour and talking about children's books
DON'T JUDGE ME
snowmanak1 that's VEVO for you 🙄
um.... uhh... wut? First off, the censoring from Vevo was supposed to be family friendly so they could be more widespread and be able to be played at any venue (for example schools). second the comment was directed at the fact that they had an "explicit content" label at the beginning of the video. (i.e. this song has swear words/lyrics not appropriate for all ages.) meaning they had full rights to publish the song with all original lyrics.
snowmanak1 in germany we have no censorship even if it is supposed to be watched or listened to by children. If it is only for children there just does nobody swear and if its for everyone the lyrics are very empty of swear words. And if it is for adults or at least teenagers they swear like normal people or sometimes even more (eg german rap is full of swearing. And german movies just have some, they often say scheiße what can be translated as shit. You would say fuck. It is not a very strong word but it still is a swear word) and nobody censors it

Also because they want the advertisements to be able to run. Some advertising companies can't take shit.
There are normally 2 versions for a song or an album, one is explicit with proper "Parental Advisory" warning, etc, and the other one which is "clean" - to be freely sold without any markings and "suitable" for underage people.
Something like that, sometimes companies tend to roll with "censored" versions for the sake of avoiding restrictions to distribution.
Luckily this censorship is only beeping the obvious stuff out. The message gets through regardless. Praise the beeps.

The most underrated song of all times.
For all of you thinking "who the fuck is Eric" he was responsible for the Columbine shooting. then the media started blaming Eminem saying that his lyrics provoked violence in teens.
Nope this song is about America (as you are aware). amERICa. That's why he says Eric. He also says Erica because... amERICA. It's not about Columbine. It's simply that the names Eric and Erica can be found within the word America. Also, they didn't blame Eminem for what happened at Columbine; Marilyn Manson's music was the target of the media and public's hate as well as the scapegoat to explain Harris and Klebold's actions. Furthermore, Columbine happened on the 20th of April 1999. Eminem's first studio album came out on the 23rd February 1999. This meant Eminem had only become known to the public probably a month before Columbine. Being that Eminem's music was only available to listen two a month or so before the shooting (and being that Dylan and Eric had been planning the massacre for well over a year), people were not stupid enough to think that Eminem's music had any influence on Columbine. It was also known the two shooters, especially the mastermind Eric, despised rap music.

Got no problem with the Americans. But I've got a real fucking problem with the government and the 1 percenters.
Sean Paratore Well, I'm more aiming at the CEO of large businesses, but yeah, Eminem is technically part of the one-percent group, even though he used to be a lower-class civilian.
Eminem never frogot his roots though
1% ? 1% of what?
89wheatthin 1% of the general population thats wealthy, the billionaires essentially
DevilWearsthePrada ahhh, just curious, what's the reason? I'm not being argumentative, just determining what your angle is.
I promise I won't go political.
I promise I won't go political.
I promise I won't go political.

💣💣💣💣💣💯💯💯💯💯 11pm and this just popped in my head ! Still a banger in 2023!!
I just realized that he uses the names eric and erica because they are at the end of word amERICa (amERICA)
i thought it had something to do with Eric harris (one of the Columbine shooters)
@@baxutsy5772 that could be it to
@@doncheadle6598 its both. ERic is a common name amongst white youths, so its to represent the average white youth who eminem apparently had a "bad influence" on. at the same time eminem was blamed in part for the columbine massacre as a bad influence for the white youth and ofc one of the perpetrators was Eric Harris. And yes AmERICA - a play on words.
@@vinne_sikes799 cool
I Am Eric/a
